Ron DeSantis has one secret weapon in 2024 that will change everything

Apr 25, 2023

Ron DeSantis appears on the verge of announcing a 2024 Presidential campaign.

Polls show if he does it’s a two-man race.

But Ron DeSantis has one secret weapon in 2024 that will change everything.

Ron DeSantis is looking to show that he is Presidential timber with a foreign trip where DeSantis will visit Japan, South Korea, and Israel.

On the first leg of the trip DeSantis met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

“We very much applaud your efforts to bolster your defenses,” DeSantis said in his meeting with Prime Minister Kishida. “We understand it’s a tough neighborhood out here … and we really believe that a strong Japan is good for America, and a strong America is good for Japan.”

But the real star of the trip was the First Lady of Florida Casey DeSantis.

The New York Post lavished praise upon Casey DeSantis and cast her as a Jackie O. fashion icon.

“Florida’s first lady, who is accompanying her husband on the trip, put her fashion sense on full display in Japan, donning a peplum-enhanced white suit with a bold floral print for her daytime look, followed by a powder-blue evening gown featuring a dramatic cape and bedazzled epaulets,” the Post reported.

Casey DeSantis and the coverage from Rupert Murdoch-owned outlets – the Post, Wall Street Journal, and Fox News – are DeSantis’ aces in the hole in the 2024 campaign.

The rest of the media are trying to brand DeSantis as some kind of antisocial weirdo.

Casey DeSantis is the best asset to humanize DeSantis for the voters as her story of her husband supporting her through her battle with breast cancer is one of the most powerful tales any politician can tell.

The media outlets owned by Rupert Murdoch also will play an outsized role in a Republican Party Primary due to the fact they are the largest institutions in conservative media.

Murdoch is opposed to Donald Trump winning the nomination as after the Midterm election letdown Murdoch no longer believes Trump can win a General Election.

The Post’s glowing coverage of Casey DeSantis’ style and Ron DeSantis’ trip to Europe will introduce the Florida Governor to the broader Republican electorate who are not yet paying close attention to the Primary race.

That is why even though Donald Trump is leading DeSantis in national polls it is still very early and a lot can change.

DeSantis Daily will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
