Joe Biden’s open border policies created the worst illegal immigration crisis in history.
Now some Republican Governors are fighting back against Biden’s border crisis at the state level.
And Ron DeSantis is cracking down on illegal immigration and pro-amnesty lobbyists are furious.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis showed Joe Biden he meant business last year when he flew two planes carrying 50 illegal aliens and dropped them off in Martha’s Vineyard.
The move set off a firestorm on the Left, with several Democrat leaders even calling on Merrick Garland to arrest DeSantis for kidnapping.
But that was only the beginning of DeSantis’ fight against Biden’s border crisis.
The Florida Governor recently announced a series of proposals to crack down on illegal immigration.
“Florida is a law and order state, and we won’t turn a blind eye to the dangers of Biden’s border crisis,” DeSantis said when announcing the proposals. “We will continue to take steps to protect Floridians from reckless federal open border policies.”

The proposals include increasing penalties for human smuggling, requiring employers to use E-Verify, and clamping down on illegal aliens voting.
DeSantis is hoping to sign a bill asking Floridians who register to vote to swear under penalty of perjury that they are a United States citizen.
“We want all citizens here that want to vote, to vote, but we don’t want anybody here voting illegally,” DeSantis said. “And if you’re not a citizen of this country, you should not be voting in our elections.”
DeSantis’ proposal would also eliminate out-of-state tuition fee waivers for illegal alien students, which the Governor said will help keep costs down for students.
“If we want to hold the line on tuition, then you have got to say ‘you need to be a U.S. citizens living in Florida,’” DeSantis said. “Why would we subsidize a non-U.S. citizen when we want to make sure we can keep it affordable for our own people?”
Of course, the Left erupted into a fit of rage over DeSantis pushing to cut off in-state tuition for illegal aliens.
“This is an issue of fairness and common sense and it’s good for our economy,” Eduardo Padrón, a former President of Miami Dade College said at a press conference hosted by the pro-amnesty American Business Immigration Coalition. “If you put roadblocks at a time when there is great need in fields like engineering, doctors, nursing, it’s an ill-advised and ill-conceived idea.”
Illegal aliens should not even be in America in the first place.
Most Americans agree that they surely should not be granted out-of-state tuition waivers that are not offered to U.S. citizens.
And Ron DeSantis is hoping to end in-state tuition for illegal aliens as part of his crackdown on Biden’s border crisis.
