Ron DeSantis issued one prediction about a socialist that has Democrats in full panic

New York City is about to become ground zero for the socialist takeover of America.

One prominent Republican leader just laid out exactly what's coming.

And Ron DeSantis issued one prediction about a socialist that has Democrats in full panic.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dropped a political bombshell about New York City's mayoral race that sent shockwaves through the Democrat Party establishment.

Socialist Democrat Zohran Mamdani stunned the political world when he crushed former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the June Democratic primary by 12 points.

The 33-year-old state assemblyman went from virtual unknown to Democrat nominee by building an army of over 50,000 volunteers and running on a platform of rent freezes, free buses, free childcare, and city-owned grocery stores.

DeSantis responded to Tesla CEO Elon Musk's post calling Mamdani "the future of the Democrat Party."

"Assuming he gets elected, Mamdani will be the most prominent Democrat in America the day he takes office," DeSantis wrote on X.¹ "Voters across the country will be able to watch his leftist agenda in action and know that his path is the Democrat path nationally."

Then DeSantis delivered his brutal assessment.

"Will be good for Republicans, bad for New York City," DeSantis stated.²

The Democrats just watched their worst nightmare come true

Mamdani's rise represents everything establishment Democrats fear.

The Democratic Socialists of America member defeated the entire Democrat Party power structure in the primary despite being outspent by millions.

Cuomo had endorsements from virtually every major Democrat power broker in New York City.

Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg backed him with cash.

But Mamdani dominated with his social media strategy and grassroots organizing.

His platform reads like Bernie Sanders' fever dream: a $30 minimum wage by 2030, rent freezes on stabilized apartments, fare-free city buses, free childcare for all families, and city-run grocery stores in every borough.³

Mamdani wants to pay for it with a 2% tax on residents earning over $1 million and raising the corporate tax rate to 11.5%.⁴

President Trump has called Mamdani "a 100% Communist Lunatic" on multiple occasions.⁵

But the scariest part for moderate Democrats is that Mamdani is winning.

Recent polls show him leading former Governor Cuomo by double digits even after Eric Adams endorsed Cuomo last week.⁶

A Fox News survey from mid-October showed Mamdani at 49%, Cuomo at 28%, and Republican Curtis Sliwa at 13%.⁷

DeSantis spotted the Democrats' identity crisis before they did

DeSantis compared Mamdani to former progressive Mayor Bill de Blasio back in July.

"This guy makes de Blasio look like Ronald Reagan," DeSantis said during a Fox News appearance.⁸

DeSantis warned that Mamdani's policies would trigger mass flight from New York City similar to what happened during the pandemic.

"I think this guy's policies, soup to nuts, are probably the most radical left that I've ever seen of a major party candidate in a big jurisdiction," DeSantis explained.⁹

The Florida Governor even joked he might have to charge New Yorkers an entry tax because of the flood of residents fleeing Mamdani's policies.

Adams dropped out of the race in September after federal corruption charges were dismissed by Trump's Justice Department.

He recently endorsed Cuomo despite previously calling him "a snake and a liar."¹⁰

"Am I angry that I'm not the one taking down Zohran, the socialist and the communist? You're darn right I am," Adams said at a joint appearance with Cuomo.¹¹ "But you know what, the city means more to me than anything."

New York Governor Kathy Hochul endorsed Mamdani despite the race potentially hurting Democrats nationally.

She joined Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at Mamdani's "New York Is Not for Sale" rally in Queens, where she told thousands of supporters they needed to help elect Mamdani as part of the larger effort to "take back America."¹²

Every conservative should be rooting for Mamdani to win

DeSantis nailed it when he said Mamdani's election would be good for Republicans.

New York City is about to become the nation's largest laboratory for socialist policies.

Americans will get to watch in real time what happens when a major city implements rent freezes, abolishes bus fares, opens government grocery stores, and raises taxes on businesses and high earners.

Mamdani wants mental health experts instead of police responding to domestic violence calls.¹³

He supports a Department of Community Safety to handle certain crises rather than the NYPD.

The whole country will watch whether these policies create prosperity or disaster.

DeSantis understands that Mamdani becoming the face of the Democrat Party is a gift to Republicans.

Moderate Democrats in swing states will have to answer whether they support Mamdani's vision for America.

GOP strategist Adolfo Franco put it bluntly: "The Republican Party will accurately portray Mamdani as the new face of the Democratic Party and emblematic of the extreme, leftist and socialist direction of the Democrats."¹⁴

New York City voters head to the polls next Tuesday, November 4.

If Mamdani wins, America gets a front-row seat to watch socialism in action in the nation's largest city.

And Ron DeSantis predicted exactly what's coming.
