Ron DeSantis’ jaw hit the floor when Disney’s CEO made one hire he’ll live to regret

Disney lost the fight they tried to pick with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The company made one desperate move to recover from its financial woes.

And Ron DeSantis’ jaw hit the floor when Disney’s CEO made one hire he’ll live to regret.

The Walt Disney Company is dealing with a financial meltdown after the company abandoned family-friendly entertainment that defined it for decades to push a woke political agenda.

The failure of woke movies and television shows sent Disney’s stock price tumbling to a nine-year low.

Disney is doubling down on its political messaging instead of learning from the constant rejection of their woke content by audiences.

The entertainment giant hired President Joe Biden’s former national press secretary, Remi Yamamoto, to be its vice president of media relations for the company’s television division.

“Yamamoto will be responsible for developing cross-brand messaging and communications strategies that promote Disney Entertainment Television programming executives across ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ABC Owned Television Stations, Disney Branded Television, Disney Television Studios, Freeform, FX, Hulu Originals, National Geographic and Onyx Collective, working closely with brand publicity leads across the businesses, per Disney,” Variety reported.

The former Biden official will also handle “crisis communications and ‘issues-oriented messaging’” for Disney.

Yamamoto worked as Biden’s traveling national Press Secretary on his 2020 Presidential campaign before transitioning to the White House as a communications advisor and special assistant to the President.

Previously, she worked on Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.

Biden called her “unflinchingly loyal” when she left his regime in March.

“From the very start of the campaign, Remi has been unflinchingly loyal and extraordinarily capable,” Biden said in a statement. “Her insights, good humor, and work ethic have been an incredible asset to all of us, and I am grateful for her service and friendship.”

Disney General Entertainment Executive Vice President Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul praised Yamamoto for her “sharp instincts” and “impeccable judgment.”

Disney’s suffered one disaster after another in recent years including starting a high-profile fight against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his parental rights bill that protects children in grades K-3 from being taught sexually explicit material.

The company shed its family-friendly image to push increasingly woke content that included radical gender ideologies aimed at kids.

Disney’s streaming service, which Yamamoto is helping oversee, has lost more than 12 million subscribers and billions of dollars.

The company’s last eight movies have lost nearly one billion dollars after they bombed at the box office, including major summer releases like Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Instead of pivoting back towards the family-friendly entertainment that turned the company into a cultural icon, it’s moving full speed ahead with wokeness by installing a Biden political hack to oversee communications.

Disney is determined to destroy what little remains of its once sterling reputation to pursue a woke political agenda.
