Ron DeSantis just became the first candidate for Governor in Florida’s history to reach this major campaign milestone

Apr 29, 2022

Ron DeSantis’ political clout has been on full display recently.

This has Democrats terrified of the Florida Governor.

And now DeSantis just became the first candidate for Governor in Florida’s history to reach this major campaign milestone.

Ron DeSantis is showing Republicans how to not only fight back against the radical Left, but also how to win against the Democrats.

DeSantis rose to rock star status during the pandemic by refusing to follow Biden and Fauci’s lockdown orders, instead keeping businesses and schools open while banning masks and vaccine mandates.

Even though he faced a nasty smear campaign for the past two years, DeSantis pushed forward with his pro-freedom policies, which is why Florida came out of the pandemic far better off than the rest of the country.

DeSantis also showed Republicans how to fight back against the Left’s “woke” ideology and win.

He banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory in Florida’s schools, gave parents the ability to sue school districts who violated this law, banned biological males from competing in women’s sports, and prohibited the teaching of the homosexual and transgender agenda to children in kindergarten through third grade.

When most Republicans would have backed down from the enormous pressure, Ron DeSantis stood up for his principles and beliefs, and now is more popular than ever before.

But it’s not just the polls where Ron DeSantis continues to surge.

DeSantis is also setting fundraising records in the Sunshine State.

According to the latest fundraising reports, Ron DeSantis hauled in more than $105 million by the end of March, making him the first candidate for Governor in Florida history to pull in nine figures from donations alone.

The new report also shows that Republican donors rewarded Ron DeSantis for standing up against the “groomers” at Walt Disney.

DeSantis raised nearly $30,000 from 950 small donations of $100 or less on one day alone after his campaign sent out an email chastising Disney for pushing the Left’s woke agenda.

DeSantis’ potential Democrat opponents in November all pale in comparison to his massive fundraising numbers.

The three Democrats running for Governor have only raised about $16 million combined, which is less than a fifth of DeSantis’ total.

But it’s not just Florida voters rallying behind DeSantis.

Campaign finance records show DeSantis has donors all across the United States from all fifty states.

This is why Ron DeSantis is considered a strong contender for the Republican nomination in 2024, especially if Donald Trump decides not to run.

But right now DeSantis says his only focus is on serving as Governor of Florida and getting re-elected to another term this fall.

DeSantis Daily will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
