It’s no secret that the NCAA is beholden to the woke Left.
From jerseys supporting the Black Lives Matter riots to allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports, the NCAA fully embraces the woke ideology.
And Ron DeSantis just called out the NCAA over this one decision that will have you seeing red.
Darrell Jackson Jr. started his college football career at the University of Maryland in 2021 but transferred to play at the University of Miami in 2022.
This past offseason Jackson transferred once again, but this time to Florida State University (FSU).
Jackson transferred to FSU to be closer to his ailing mother.
But the NCAA only allows one transfer for athletes, meaning Jackson had to petition the NCAA for a waiver since he previously transferred schools.
Since Jackson only transferred to FSU to be near his very sick mother, one would think that the NCAA would have no problem approving the petition.
But the NCAA denied Jackson’s request to play this season at FSU.
Jackson recently said he felt “hurt” by the decision.
“I came home for my mom,” he said. “She thinks it’s her fault, but it’s not,” he continued, before adding that “I’m going to continue to be there for my mom and see how things play out.”
Florida State Coach Mike Norvell said he was disappointed by the NCAA’s decision.
But Florida Governor Ron DeSantis took the gloves off on the NCAA for rejecting a hardship waiver while allowing biological males to walk around naked in the women’s locker room.
“The @NCAA rejected a hardship waiver for a college athlete to play near his ailing mother, but allows biological males in locker rooms with female athletes,” DeSantis wrote on X. “It’s clear their priorities are out of step with Americans.”

Of course, Darrell Jackson transferring to FSU so he can be close to his ailing mother is a move that most Americans would find admirable.
But not the NCAA.
The NCAA does not care much for family values.
Its allegiance is to the woke ideology.
