Florida has been officially known as “The Sunshine State” since 1970.
But radical environmentalists are pushing a plan that could put an end to sunny days in Florida.
And Ron DeSantis just caught everyone by surprise with this video about the government manipulating the weather.
The truth is stranger than fiction is an old adage that rings truer today than ever before.
Most Americans have been shocked at the number of conspiracy theories that have turned out to be true in recent years.
The Democrats and left-wing media smeared anyone who dared to mention Hunter Biden’s laptop as a “conspiracy theorist” ahead of the 2020 election.
But the “conspiracy theorists” were eventually proven right.
After the pandemic ended, Americans learned that the “conspiracy theories” about the origins of the virus, the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, and the effectiveness of wearing a mask and social distancing were true.
Over the past year, more and more Americans have been discussing a “conspiracy theory” about the government manipulating the weather through a process known as geoengineering.
But this is yet another conspiracy theory that appears to be based in reality.
Over two dozen states introduced legislation last year that would ban geoengineering and weather modification.
Legislation has been introduced in Kentucky, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Arizona, Iowa, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Alabama, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Missouri, and Maine.
On Thursday, the Florida Senate passed a bill prohibiting weather modification and geoengineering.
Known as the “chemtrails bill,” the legislation bans “the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight.”
It also establishes a system for residents to report “suspected geoengineering activities.”
Under the legislation, geoengineering is defined as “the intentional large-scale alteration of the planetary environment to counteract [alleged] anthropogenic climate change.”
Republican Senator Ileana Garcia introduced the legislation.
“Many of us senators receive concerns, complaints on a regular basis regarding these condensation trails, aka chemtrails,” Garcia said. “I have a problem with people spraying perfume around me sometimes, don’t you have a problem with people spraying things into the atmosphere that really have no type of empirical data, that you just don’t know who they are or what they’re doing?”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis supports the legislation.
DeSantis announced his support in a video he posted on X where he warned about a “gutted” version of the bill in the State House.
“I support the bill by Senator @IleanaGarciaUSA to ban geoengineering and weather modification,” DeSantis wrote above the video. “The Florida house, though, has gutted the bill and actually codified the practices,” he continued. “We don’t want to indulge this nonsense in Florida, where we are proud of our sunshine.”
In the video, DeSantis said geoengineering was part of the Left’s climate change agenda.
“People got a lot of kooky ideas that they can get in and put things in the atmosphere to block the sun and save us from climate change, but we’re not playing that game in Florida,” DeSantis said in the video.
