Leftists thought he was bluffing.
But Ron DeSantis just dropped the hammer on one venue for allowing children to attend a sexualized drag show.
Over the past several months, countless videos have surfaced online from all across the country showing adult men scantily dressed as women dancing sexually in front of young children at drag shows.
Most Americans are troubled by the growing trend of leftists grooming children into transgenderism with age-inappropriate performances.
Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law that prohibits woke leftists from grooming young children in Florida’s schools with transgenderism.
But DeSantis’ battle to stop left-wing grooming extends beyond Florida’s educational system.
The Governor is also dropping the hammer on businesses and venues that allow children to attend age-inappropriate sexual performances.
On December 28, the Orlando Philharmonic Foundation hosted “A Drag Queen Christmas” and allowed children to attend the lewd show.
After videos surfaced on Twitter showing half-naked drag queens dancing and performing sexually-explicit acts on stage in front of young children, Ron DeSantis announced an investigation into the matter.
“The Department is actively investigating this matter, including video footage and photographs from the event,” a statement from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation read at the time. “DBPR will, like in other cases, take action.”
And now Ron DeSantis is making good on his promise to revoke the liquor license of any venue which allows children to attend age-inappropriate performances.
On Friday, through the state’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, DeSantis filed a 6-count complaint against the Orlando Philharmonic Foundation Inc., for “exposing minor children to lewd sexual acts during a drag show that took place in Orlando on December 28.”
The Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation violating state law in allowing for a person to “commit lewd or lascivious exhibition” in the presence of an individual who is less than 16 years old will result in the state revoking the institution’s liquor license.
DeSantis Press Secretary Bryan Griffin reminded leftists that the Governor warned the venue beforehand of the consequences of allowing children to attend the show.
But they ignored the warning.
The DeSantis administration “warned the Orlando Philharmonic Foundation, Inc. against hosting a sexually explicit show with children present,” Griffin said in a statement. “The venue proceeded with their plans and, according to an investigation by the Department, the venue (Respondent in the complaint) violated Florida statutes as outlined in the attached complaint.”
“The Department is revoking the venue’s license for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages,” he added.
When DeSantis said that “Florida is where woke goes to die,” he meant every word of it.
And the Florida Governor just dropped the hammer on the Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation for grooming children into the transgender lifestyle.
