Joe Biden weaponized the justice system against Donald Trump.

But it’s backfired on Biden so far.

And Ron DeSantis just explained why Joe Biden should be outraged at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Joe Biden is waging lawfare against Donald Trump in an effort to destroy his 2024 Presidential campaign.

Donald Trump is now facing 91 criminal charges across four indictments from three Democrat prosecutors.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg handed down the first indictment in Joe Biden’s weaponization of the justice system against Donald Trump.

But instead of setting back his campaign, Bragg’s indictment only boosted Trump’s numbers in the polls and cemented his status as the GOP frontrunner.

Bragg’s indictment was clearly motivated by partisan politics, which caused GOP grassroots voters to rally around Trump.

Each indictment after Bragg’s also backfired and boosted Trump’s lead in the Republican Primary polls.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently appeared for an interview with Kristen Welker on NBC’s Meet the Press to discuss his campaign for the GOP nomination.

DeSantis discussed his views on the war between Israel and Hamas, declaring he “would support Israel’s right to end this problem once and for all.”

But Welker brought up Donald Trump’s indictments and the charges he’s facing from Democrat prosecutors.

“As you know, you are trailing double digits behind Former President Trump,” Welker said. “He is facing 91 felony counts,” she continued, before asking DeSantis, “do you believe that the former President’s legal troubles are the reason that you’re still in this race?”

“No,” DeSantis responded. “I mean, I think that had Alvin Bragg not politicized this back in April, I think probably the Primary would be looking different.”

He then explained how Donald Trump’s numbers only went up after Alvin Bragg’s politicized indictment.

“I mean, I think that that gave the former President more support,” DeSantis said. “I think people felt that he was being treated unfairly, which he was, in that circumstance.”

DeSantis called it “a very important inflection point” that “highlights the weaponization of the justice system by some of these left-wing prosecutors.”

However, DeSantis said the problem is that the indictments all focus on “the past” when he believes “it’s not about the past” and “it’s ultimately about how do you get in and reverse the country’s decline?”

Instead of focusing on the past, DeSantis believes the GOP should focus on defeating Joe Biden.
