But these elitists aren’t going to change their behavior, just yours.
That is made clear as these billionaires, Hollywood glitterati, and climate change activists jet-set around the globe in their private jets using more energy than any regular person does in a lifetime.
And now some are starting to fight back against their hypocrisy.
Governor Ron DeSantis is leading the charge and took aim at the “jet-setters in Davos,” a clear reference to the World Economic Forum (WEF) during his inaugural address.
“Our rights are not granted by the courtesy of the state but endowed by the hand of the almighty”
DeSantis, in his typical feisty fashion said, “Fighting for freedom is not always easy because the threats to freedom are more complex and more widespread than they have been in the past.”
He continued, “The threats can come from entrenched bureaucrats in DC, jetsetters in Davos and corporations wielding public power – but fight we must. We embrace our founding creed that our rights are not granted by the courtesy of the state but endowed by the hand of the almighty.”
But DeSantis wasn’t finished taking on the global elites and issued a call to action for all Americans.
“We reject the idea that self-government can be subcontracted out to technocratic elites who reduce human beings to mere data points,” DeSantis added.
“We insist on the restoration of time-tested constitutional principles so that government of by and for the people shall not perish from this earth,” he went on.
And DeSantis is taking actions as Governor to fight back against the globalist Davos jet-setters and green energy extremists.
Biden wants to eliminate gas stoves
For example, while the Biden administration and radical eco-warriors want to eliminate gas stoves for cooking, DeSantis took another route.
He recently unveiled his “Freedom Budget” this week, vowing to eliminate the sales tax gas stoves.
“The Framework for Freedom budget abolishes sales tax for: Baby necessities including diapers, wipes, clothes, strollers and cribs; Over-the-counter pet medications; Gas stoves,” posted DeSantis on Twitter.
Americans need more leaders like DeSantis willing to stand up to the global elites and radical green energy extremists.
