Ron DeSantis just made one bold promise that left Floridians seeing green

Sep 2, 2022

Ron DeSantis is not a typical politician.

He’s one of the few who actually follow through on their promises to voters.

And Ron DeSantis just made one bold promise that left Floridians seeing green.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has already set himself apart from other elected Republican officials by his pro-freedom pandemic policies and his fight against the Left’s woke ideology.

DeSantis’ bold leadership catapulted him to the forefront of American politics over the past year-and-a-half and made him a rock star in the Republican Party.

Ron DeSantis vowed to stand up to Biden and Fauci’s pandemic tyranny and protect freedom.

Despite vicious attacks from the media and dirty tactics from the administration, such as cutting off shipments of monoclonal antibodies to Florida, Ron DeSantis kept his promise to keep the Sunshine State free and open for business.

DeSantis promised to make 2022 the “Year of the Parent” in Florida.

Even in the face of attacks and threats from Disney, the largest employer in the state, DeSantis once again followed through on his promise and defended parental rights and protected children from the woke agenda.

That’s why Floridians were seeing green when Ron Desantis made one bold promise during a press conference on Tuesday.

DeSantis vowed that Floridians are about to receive the biggest tax cuts in the history of the state.

“We are going to roll out our tax package for next year, probably in the next couple of weeks, and that is going to be by far the biggest tax cuts in the history of the state of Florida, so stay tuned for that,” DeSantis said at a press event in Live Oak, Florida.

While DeSantis didn’t provide any more specific details, given his record of following through on his promises, Floridians can expect to have more green dollars in their pockets in the future.

There is no income tax in Florida, and the state sales tax is 6%, with a few exceptions.

DeSantis is expected to release more specifics about the tax cuts in the next few weeks.

This would not be the first tax break DeSantis handed Floridians.

In May, DeSantis signed a tax holiday bill into law that included $1.2 billion in tax breaks on a number of items like diapers and mobile homes.

Thanks to DeSantis’ leadership during the pandemic, Florida is also weathering Joe Biden’s economic storm much better than the rest of the country.

In June, Florida finished the Fiscal Year with a $22 budget surplus.

And Ron DeSantis is about to return that money back to the people in the form of the largest tax cut in Florida history.
