The situation at the border is out of control.

Record-breaking numbers of illegal aliens and dangerous drugs like fentanyl are pouring into the country.

But Ron DeSantis just made one move that proves he’s serious about protecting Floridians from Biden’s border crisis.

Joe Biden’s Presidency has unleashed a flood of illegal aliens into America.

According to the latest reports, the Biden administration released more than 100,000 illegal aliens into the country during the month of April.

But it’s not just the number of illegal aliens entering the country that is skyrocketing under Joe Biden’s watch.

Biden’s open borders agenda has also allowed criminals to smuggle massive amounts of dangerous drugs like fentanyl into the country.

More powerful than heroin, fentanyl is by far the most dangerous drug in the United States.

As a result, deaths from fentanyl has doubled over the past two years to nearly 65,000 people, making synthetic opioids the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45.

In March, a group of West Point cadets who overdosed on fentanyl-laced cocaine while on spring break in Florida had to be hospitalized.

Republican Governors like Ron DeSantis have been taking steps to protect their states from Biden’s border crisis.

And on Thursday, Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law cracking down on fentanyl and methamphetamine dealers in the Sunshine State.

“Floridians of all walks of life have witnessed the destruction caused by the opioid epidemic across our state,” DeSantis said in a press release. “While the Biden administration has failed to stop the flow of dangerous drugs, including fentanyl, across our southern border, we are taking action in Florida to lower both the demand and the supply of illicit and illegal drugs.”

At a bill signing ceremony in Polk County, Ron DeSantis vowed to “fight the supply of drugs and crack down on dealers and traffickers” of fentanyl and other dangerous substances.

“If you are dealing fentanyl you are killing people and you are going to be put in jail,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis also ripped the Biden administration for refusing to secure the border and creating the massive crisis now facing the American people.

“The Biden administration’s reckless open border policy has threatened the safety of all Americans, but certainly of Floridians as we continue to see record amounts,” DeSantis added.

With the situation at the border growing worse by the day, more Republican Governors will likely follow DeSantis’ lead in taking steps to protect their states from fentanyl and other dangerous drugs entering the country thanks to Biden’s policies.
