Donald Trump will surrender Thursday in Georgia on Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis’ charges tied to the 2020 election.
The politically-motivated charges are part of Joe Biden’s attempt to remove his top opponent from the race.
But Ron DeSantis just made one promise that terrified Joe Biden’s allies at the Justice Department and FBI.
Democrats have been trying to take down Donald Trump ever since he defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016.
The Russian-collusion hoax and sham Ukrainian impeachment came up short of removing Trump from office.
But the effort to take down Donald Trump did not end with his defeat in the 2020 election.
Instead, Joe Biden used his powers as President to weaponize the justice system against Donald Trump.
And now Donald Trump is facing 91 criminal charges from four politically-motivated indictments that could land him in prison for the rest of his life.
But so far Biden’s lawfare has only served to boost Donald Trump’s standing in the GOP Primary.
Even though Ron DeSantis is Trump’s top opponent in the Republican Primary, the Florida Governor is defending the former President against Biden’s weaponized justice system.
“I do, though, believe we need to enact reforms so that Americans have the right to remove cases from Washington, D.C. to their home districts,” DeSantis said in reference to Trump facing trial in Democrat-dominated cities. “Washington, D.C. is a ‘Swamp’ and it is unfair to have to stand trial before a jury that is reflective of the Swamp mentality.”
But during a campaign rally on Monday, DeSantis ripped Biden for his banana republic-style tactics and promised to “clean house” if elected President.
“The weaponization of the federal government is a threat to all Americans,” DeSantis told the crowd. “As President, I will bring accountability.”
DeSantis then put FBI Director Christopher Wray on notice that he will be fired on Day One.
“I will fire the FBI Director,” DeSantis said, before turning his attention to corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department.
“I will clean house at the Justice Department,” he continued, before adding that “I will fire bureaucrats who abuse their power.”
He then made it clear that he will not put up with the violence and destruction that occurred during the summer of 2020.
“And I will never allow radical groups like BLM to burn down our cities,” he concluded.
