Ron DeSantis just revealed one truth about the 2024 election that left Democrats on edge

Donald Trump appointing three conservative Justices to the Supreme Court was the biggest accomplishment of his Presidency.

Trump’s appointees handed conservatives major victories on abortion and gun rights.

But Ron DeSantis just revealed one truth about the 2024 election that left Democrats on edge.

Donald Trump spent most of his four years in office defending himself against the Deep State’s phony impeachment hoaxes and attempted coups.

But Trump handed conservatives a huge victory by appointing Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Trump’s appointees gave conservatives a 6-3 majority on the Court that resulted in the Dobbs’ decision that overturned the disastrous 1973 Roe v. Wade case.

Since Supreme Court Justices are appointed for life, gaining a 6-3 conservative majority on the highest court in the land was the biggest accomplishment of Trump’s Presidency.

And according to Ron DeSantis, it could fall on the next President to appointment two Justices to the Court.

“If you look over the next two presidential terms there is a good chance that you could be called upon to seek replacements for Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito,” DeSantis told a crowd on Monday at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Orlando. “And the issue with that is you can’t really do better than those two,” DeSantis continued, before adding that “they are the gold standard for jurisprudence, so you gotta make sure that we are appointing people as close to that standard as possible.”

Clarence Thomas is currently 74 years old and Samuel Alito is 73.

DeSantis pointed out how much of a disaster it would be to replace Thomas with a leftist Republican like John Roberts.

“If you replace a Clarence Thomas with someone like a Roberts or somebody like that, then you’re actually gonna see the Court move to the Left, and you can’t do that,” DeSantis said. “I also think if you look over those eight years, you very well could be called upon to replace Chief Justice John Roberts, and perhaps even someone like Justice Sotomayor,” he continued, before adding that “it is possible that in those eight years we would have the opportunity to fortify justices Alito and Thomas, as well as actually make improvements with those others, and if you were able to do that, then you would have a 7-2 conservative majority on the Supreme Court that would last a quarter century, so this is big stuff.”

Both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis would appoint conservative Justices to the Supreme Court.

If it played out the way DeSantis mentioned, conservatives would have a 7-2 supermajority on the Supreme Court.

And this is a thought that will keep Democrats up at night.
