Ron DeSantis just set the stage for a major showdown with Democrats over Joe Biden’s authoritarian agenda

The Biden administration and corporate-controlled media have been waging a war on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the past several months.

But it’s about to get more intense.

And Ron DeSantis just set the stage for a major showdown with Democrats over Joe Biden’s authoritarian agenda.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has stood up to Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s COVID tyranny during the entire pandemic.

Not only did DeSantis keep Florida open for business, but he also rejected Fauci’s mask and vaccine mandates.

DeSantis’ willingness to stand up to the Biden administration and the media made him wildly popular with Republicans nationwide.

But it also made him the most hated Republican Governor in the country by the Left.

However, DeSantis is a fighter.

Unlike most politicians, DeSantis doesn’t back down or cower when the media attacks him with vicious lies and smears.

DeSantis recently called for a special session of the Florida legislature to protect workers in the Sunshine State from Biden’s tyrannical vaccine mandate.

And on Monday, DeSantis came out swinging against the Democrats by announcing his key goals for the special session of the legislature set to begin on November 15.

“No cop, no firefighter, no nurse, nobody should be losing their job because of these jabs – we must stand up for people and protect their jobs and livelihoods,” DeSantis said at a press conference in Zephyrhills announcing his goals for the special session.

“What the federal government is doing is wrong. It is wrong to kick people out of work; it is wrong to try to micromanage businesses; and it is wrong to deprive key industries of people that we need. Most importantly, what they are doing is unconstitutional and we have a responsibility to stand up for the Constitution and protect Floridians,” DeSantis declared.

DeSantis stressed the fact that, as he’s said multiple times before, this doesn’t have anything to do with being “anti-vaccine.”

It’s about personal freedom, and vaccines are “not a decision for governments to make for individuals.”

DeSantis stated that the main goal of the special session was to bolster existing laws and draft new ones to provide additional protections for Floridians regarding COVID vaccine mandates and employees who face what DeSantis calls “unfair, discriminatory” actions by employers.

Aside from “Protecting Employees,” DeSantis also included a section titled “Protecting Families” in the fact sheet his office released listing the goals for the special session.

This includes preventing educational institutions from requiring students to be vaccinated for the coronavirus, as well as banning school districts from mandating students wear face masks.

It also allows parents to “sue school districts that violate these protections and recover attorney’s fees.”

Of course, Ron DeSantis releasing a bold list of goals for the special session will only infuriate Democrats even more.

But as DeSantis has proven time and time again, he’s a fighter.

And that’s what he is planning to do in the upcoming special session.
