Ron DeSantis just signed a bill that proves how serious he is about protecting the integrity of Florida’s elections

2020 was the most controversial election year in recent history.

Polls show election integrity is one of the top issues for voters in the upcoming Midterms.

And Ron DeSantis just signed a bill that proves how serious he is about protecting the integrity of Florida’s elections.

Ron DeSantis is leading the charge on virtually every issue that matters to conservative voters.

DeSantis fought back against Biden and Fauci’s COVID tyranny, keeping businesses and schools open while banning vaccine passports and mask mandates.

DeSantis stood up against the woke Left’s attempt to indoctrinate children with their radical transgender and homosexual agenda by passing a law prohibiting the teaching of so-called “gender identity” and sexuality to children in kindergarten through third grade.

He banned teaching Marxist-based Critical Race Theory in classrooms and schools across Florida.

DeSantis also signed a bill into law prohibiting abortion after 15 weeks in the Sunshine State.

And now Ron DeSantis just signed legislation designed to protect the integrity of Florida’s elections.

The new law creates an “Office of Election Crimes and Security” to investigate allegations of voter fraud, increases the penalty for ballot harvesting to a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison, strengthens the requirements for mail-in ballots, and also requires officials to check voter rolls annually for ineligible voters.

“The legislation I signed today will continue to make Florida a leader in election integrity by increasing penalties for ballot harvesting, expanding our ban on Zuckerbucks, and establishing an election integrity unit in state government to enforce our laws,” DeSantis wrote on Twitter about the legislation.

“Zuckerbucks” is when Big Tech pours millions of dollars into nonprofits for so-called “electioneering machinery.”

As Fox News reported:

During the 2020 election cycle, the Zuckerberg-Chan Initiative, founded by Zuckerberg and his wife, gave more than $350 million to local state jurisdictions to allegedly help counties run their elections safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, a report from the Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal found that in Pennsylvania, some counties had reportedly used funds for ‘get out the vote’ efforts and for costs unrelated to the fund’s ostensible goals. The Pennsylvania Department of State and 23 jurisdictions received $20 million from the Center for Tech and Civic Life — which distributed the funds from the Zuckerberg-Chan Initiative.

Polls currently show Democrats are headed for a beating at the ballot box in November.

Democrats were hoping to use ballot-harvesting schemes, drop boxes, “Zuckerbucks,” and other underhanded tactics to shore up the damage this fall.

But Republican leaders like Ron DeSantis are standing in the way by strengthening election integrity laws.
