Ron DeSantis just signed one bill that has the radical Left seeing red

There is no Republican elected official that the Left hates more than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Despite their nasty attacks and smears, DeSantis keeps pushing forward with his legislative agenda.

And Ron DeSantis just signed one bill that has the radical Left seeing red.

The radical Left used Ron DeSantis as a political punching bag throughout the entire pandemic after he refused to enforce lockdowns and banned masks and vaccine mandates in the Sunshine State.

After DeSantis recently signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill into law, which simply prohibits teaching children in kindergarten through third grade the homosexual and transgender agenda, the Democrats and corporate-controlled media doubled down on their smears against the Florida Governor.

DeSantis has been unfazed by their attacks, and he keeps pushing forward with his legislative agenda.

But the radical Left is now seeing red after Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Thursday that prohibits abortions in Florida after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Currently, women in Florida are allowed to get an abortion up to 24 weeks into pregnancy.

But when the new law goes into effect on July 1, abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy will be illegal in the Sunshine State.

On Thursday, Ron DeSantis delivered a speech about abortion at Nacion de Fe, a hispanic church in Kissimmee.

“We are here today to defend those who can’t defend themselves,” DeSantis began. “And in just a minute I will be signing House Bill 5, which protects the rights of unborn children starting at 15 weeks,” he continued. ”This is a time where these babies have beating hearts, they can move, they can taste, they can see, they can feel pain, they can suck their thumbs, and they have brainwaves. This will represent the most significant protections for life enacted in this state for a generation,” DeSantis added.

Of course, DeSantis knows the radical Left will be furious over the ban on abortions after 15 weeks, as abortion is considered a sacred right within the Democrat Party.

DeSantis told the audience to pay attention to those who he called “the far-left,” how they act, and the stances they take when it comes to the politics of abortion.

“They are now taking the position that babies can be aborted up to the ninth month,” DeSantis said. “Literally you can go back to your parents, and those are some of the most significant experiences of my life, to hold your child for the very first time. What they would say is while you’re a parent holding that child, if you go back a day or two, they could snuff that child out entirely. That is just fundamentally wrong, that is infanticide, and that has no place,” DeSantis added.

Even though the law will go into effect on July 1 in Florida, the Constitutionality of the 15-week ban on abortions remains uncertain.

Mississippi’s ban on abortions after 15 weeks is currently before the U.S. Supreme Court, where a decision is expected to be handed down in the next few weeks.

If Mississippi’s law is upheld by the Supreme Court, Florida’s new measure and a similar 15-week ban also passed by Arizona last month would be greenlighted.
