George Soros is one of the driving forces on the Left attempting to remake America into a socialist nation.
But conservatives are fighting back.
And Ron DeSantis made one big announcement that left George Soros trembling in fear.
The number one institution George Soros targeted in recent years was the justice system.
Soros helped fund the election of radical left-wing prosecutors who would attack police and turn the streets over to criminals in the name of equity.
Florida was one of the few states where Black Lives Matter insurrectionists did not overrun major cities after the death of George Floyd.
To make sure Soros’ corrosive influence never permeated Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis took a number of steps.
First, DeSantis removed Soros-backed prosecutor Andrew Young over Young’s refusal to enforce the state’s 15-week abortion ban and Young’s promise not to enforce an upcoming ban on transgender surgeries for minor children.
DeSantis was not content to just make a public show of executive power and move on.
In the current session of the legislature, DeSantis proudly announced he was signing a series of bills designed to protect law and order in Florida from the Soros agenda.
At a press event announcing the bill, DeSantis noted that crime was at a 50-year low in Florida and that DeSantis intended to keep it that way.
“I mentioned that the crime rate is a 50-year low. Overall crime is down almost 10% year over year. Murder down 14% year over year,” DeSantis declared.
“Today, we are going to sign a series of bills to keep the momentum going,” DeSantis added.
The bills DeSantis signed included tougher penalties for fentanyl dealers who pushed this poison on children, imposing minimum bail standards to prevent Soros’ pet policy of cashless bail from ever coming to the state, and imposing the death penalty on child rapists.
Today, I signed legislation that will:
– Makes child rapists eligible for the death penalty with the minimum sentence of life in prison without parole
– Impose additional penalties on fentanyl and drug-related crimes targeted at children

If and when Ron DeSantis announces his Presidential run, the centerpiece of his message will be that DeSantis is the conservative who can deliver victories on the America First agenda.
These new pieces of legislation blocking Soros’ pro-crime agenda from ever making its way to Florida will be another feather in DeSantis’ cap.
