Ron DeSantis is waging a war on the Left’s woke ideology in Florida.
The Florida Governor is expecting to declare victory in 2024.
And Ron DeSantis made one major announcement about 2024 that could be the final nail in the woke Left’s coffin.
Ron DeSantis’ war against the woke Left goes beyond removing Critical Race Theory from the curriculum, preventing left-wing teachers from grooming children, and prohibiting biological males from participating in women’s sports.
It also includes rooting out left-wing school board members who use their position to push the woke agenda in their local district.
Last year, he released his 10-point DeSantis Education agenda centered around parental rights and a students first approach and invited all candidates for school board to apply for an endorsement.
29 of the 34 candidates DeSantis endorsed for school board sailed to victory on Election Day.
And in Sarasota and Broward County, DeSantis-endorsed school board members have already booted out their woke superintendents.
But Ron DeSantis is not done rooting out woke leftists from county school boards.
In December, DeSantis announced that 2022 was only the first battle in the war against the woke Left.
“This is really, I think, just the beginning,” DeSantis said. “I think what we’ve been able to do is show that these races matter,” he continued, before adding that “you’re already seeing some of these school boards making big changes in their school districts, which I think is very, very encouraging to see people wanting to reform.”
And now, the Florida Governor just announced an initial target list for 14 school board positions in the 2024 elections.
Florida House Speaker Paul Renner and Moms for Liberty co-founders Tina Descovich and Tiffany Justice recently met with DeSantis to formulate a plan for 2024 school board races in the Sunshine State.
They also strategized about the amount of resources and the amount of training necessary to achieve victory in 2024.
“Our children’s education is a no-fail mission,” Florida House Speaker Paul Renner said. “We will continue to support Florida school board candidates who promote the components of a world class education, and defeat those that are focused on the latest ideological trends,” he continued, before adding “make no mistake, we intend to win as Florida’s future is too important.”
Ron DeSantis is showing Republicans how to break the Left’s grip over our educational system.

DeSantis previously declared that “Florida is where woke goes to die.”
And the Governor continues to show he means business.
