The excitement is building among supporters of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
All doubts about DeSantis challenging Trump for the GOP nomination are over.
And Ron DeSantis’ Press Secretary just made one announcement that all but guarantees the Governor is running for President in 2024.
Bryan Griffin replaced Christina Pushaw as Ron DeSantis’ Press Secretary last August when she left the Governor’s office to serve as Rapid Response Director for his political campaign.
Like Pushaw, Griffin is known for his willingness to take on the media and expose their many lies about DeSantis.
But now Griffin is out as DeSantis’ Press Secretary.
On Monday, Griffin posted a resignation letter on Twitter announcing he was “stepping away from this role to pursue other avenues of helping deliver the Governor’s success to our country.”
Griffin is leaving DeSantis’ office to join Pushaw on his political team, a move that all but guarantees the Governor is about to launch a Presidential campaign.
In the letter, Griffin said it was an honor working for DeSantis and listed out several of the Governor’s accomplishments.
“Serving as the Press Secretary for the Office of Governor Ron DeSantis has been the honor of a lifetime,” Griffin wrote in his letter. “I am proud of the work we have done and I truly believe that because of our work (sic) Florida will be a safe, prosperous, exceptional, and successful place for our children and posterity to live for generations,” Griffin continued, before adding that “together, we have irrevocably enshrined freedom and truth into Florida’s institutions and law.”
Griffin noted DeSantis’ battle to restore parental rights in education, his fight against the woke Left’s radical agenda, as well as his pro-freedom pandemic policies as just a few of his achievements.
“All of these things that Governor DeSantis has accomplished in Florida can be replicated nationwide,” Griffin wrote. “However, our nation is currently burdened with historic challenges, but the challenges can be overcome, and America is worth the fight.”
“I believe that Governor DeSantis is the only leader who can see us to victory at this critical moment in American history,” Griffin continued, before adding that “because of this, I am stepping away to pursue other avenues of helping to deliver the governor’s success to our country.”
“If I can be even a small part of the revival and restoration of our great nation, then I am prepared to give it my all,” the letter concluded.
Griffin will be replaced by Jeremy Redfern, who previously served as Deputy Press Secretary for DeSantis.
Christina Pushaw congratulated Redfern on his new role as Press Secretary.
🙌 🥳 so proud of my friend @JeremyRedfernFL! https://t.co/eY4c7iYYdV
