The Supreme Court is currently in the middle of the most-anticipated term in recent history.
But no one expected this to happen.
And Ron DeSantis revealed a shocking truth about the leaked Supreme Court opinion.
Democrats, the corporate-controlled media, and the radical Left are in a frenzy after POLITICO obtained a leaked draft opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito showing the Supreme Court may very well overturn the Roe v. Wade decision.
Decided in 1973, the Roe v. Wade decision made abortion-on-demand the law of the land in all 50 states.
Conservatives have been fighting for decades ever since to strike down Roe v. Wade.
But it was a losing battle until Donald Trump won in 2016 and nominated three conservative Justices, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.
Now, with a conservative majority on the Court, the Right was more hopeful than ever that Roe v. Wade would either be curtailed or outright overturned when the Dobbs’ ruling was handed down.
However, the Supreme Court was rocked when POLITICO published the leaked opinion showing that the Court was poised to strike down the 1973 Roe decision and return the issue of abortion back to the states.
But Florida Governor Ron DeSantis believes the Left leaked the opinion to POLITICO for a malicious reason.
“To have that leak out the way it did was really unprecedented,” DeSantis said. “And I think it was really an attack on a lot of the Justices. I think it was intentional to try to whip up a lot of the public, to try to make it very political and potentially try to bully one of them into changing their positions.”
DeSantis makes a good point.
After all, the Democrats have been smearing and attacking DeSantis’ friend and ally, Justice Clarence Thomas, because his wife is a conservative activist.
Democrats are also trying to expand the Supreme Court before the November Midterms to appoint up to nine left-wing Justices, handing them a permanent majority on the Court.
DeSantis pointed out how serious it is that someone violated the integrity of the Court by leaking an opinion to the press.
“You want to talk about an insurrection – that’s a judicial insurrection to be taking that out and trying to kneecap a potential majority through extra-constitutional means. So I was really surprised to see that, but we will see what ends up being the result going forward,” DeSantis argued.
DeSantis also mentioned the importance of investigating the matter in order to make sure the leaker is held accountable for their actions.
“And that is not something that’s appropriate for the judicial branch,” DeSantis said. “I hope, I know they launched an investigation, so they need to figure out who did that, and they need to hold them accountable, because that is a real, significant breach of trust.”

Last month, DeSantis signed a bill into law prohibiting abortions in Florida after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
If Mississippi’s law is upheld by the Supreme Court in the Dobbs’ ruling, Florida’s new measure would be greenlighted.
And based on the leaked opinion, it appears the Supreme Court is preparing to uphold Mississippi’s law, which would also allow Florida’s law to go into effect on July 1.
