Saturday marked one year since Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.
And Joe Biden made a surprise visit to Ukraine on Monday.
But Ron DeSantis said two words about Joe Biden’s proxy war with Russia that has all hell breaking loose.
On Saturday, Vice President Kamala Harris officially accused Russia of committing crimes against humanity in Ukraine.
“The United States has formally determined that Russia has committed crimes against humanity,” Harris declared.
Joe Biden followed Harris’ aggressive comments with an unannounced trip to Ukraine on Monday to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky – where he promised an additional $500 million on top of the more than $100 billion American taxpayers have already forked over in the past year.
Biden also promised to continue sending Ukraine taxpayer dollars for “as long as it takes.”
“I thought it was critical that there not be any doubt, none whatsoever, about U.S. support for Ukraine in the war,” Biden added.
Many Americans were infuriated by Joe Biden promising a blank check to Ukraine for “as long as it takes” while seemingly ignoring our own country’s mounting problems like the border, crime, and inflation.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is one of those Americans.
And during an interview with Fox & Friends, Ron DeSantis said Joe Biden’s promise of a blank check to Ukraine was “not acceptable.”
“They have effectively a blank check policy with no clear strategic objective identified, and these things can escalate,” DeSantis began. “I don’t think it’s in our interest to be getting into a proxy war with China getting involved over things like the borderlands or over Crimea. So I think it would behoove them to identify what is the strategic objective that they are trying to achieve. But just saying it’s an open-ended blank check, that’s not acceptable.”
DeSantis pointed to the illegal immigration crisis and said the President should be more concerned about our country’s border with Mexico than Ukraine’s border with Russia.
“He’s very concerned about those borders halfway around the world,” DeSantis said. “He’s not done anything to secure our own border here at home.”
The Florida Governor also ripped Joe Biden for allowing the Communist Chinese to fly a spy balloon across the entire country and potentially threaten national security.
“And then of course, we just suffered a national humiliation of having China fly a spy balloon clear across the continental United States,” DeSantis said. “So we have a lot of problems accumulating here in our own country that he is neglecting.”
America is facing a massive border crisis, rising inflation, surging crime, crumbling infrastructure, and several other major problems.
But Joe Biden’s only concern is continuing his proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
And Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just put him on notice that more blank checks to Ukraine is “not acceptable.”
