Ron DeSantis sat in silence when he heard Tomi Lahren’s four words of advice for his Presidential campaign

Jan 23, 2024

Conservative influencer Tomi Lahren endorsed Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary.

But the host of the popular podcast Tomi Lahren is Fearless recently had a change of heart.

And Ron DeSantis sat in silence when he heard Tomi Lahren’s four words of advice for his Presidential campaign.

Tomi Lahren Is Fearless host Tomi Lahren publicly announced her support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in August of 2023.

In an article for the website Outkick, Lahren implored her fellow Republicans to drop Donald Trump and join her in supporting Ron DeSantis.

“Florida not only went red, but DeSantis won by nearly 20 points, and he won Miami-Dade County,” she wrote in her article making the case for DeSantis over Trump. “A Republican has not won that county since 2002.”

“If that’s not a bellwether, I don’t know what is,” she continued. “THAT victory was what turned my head toward Ron DeSantis.”

But fast forward to January of 2024 and Lahren is now singing a different tune about supporting DeSantis.

On Monday, Lahren appeared on Fox News Channel’s Hannity as a guest panelist for the Iowa Caucus results.

“I think this also shows that Republicans have kind of a real big choice ahead,” Lahren said about the results. “Do we all galvanize around Trump now, or do we wait a month or a few weeks?”

“I think, even as someone who is a big supporter of Ron DeSantis, I think that tonight with a decisive victory for Donald Trump, I think it is time for Republicans to galvanize behind Donald Trump,” she continued. “I do believe he’s going to be our nominee, so it’s time to set our sights on the general.”

On Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, Lahren once again announced that she was now supporting Donald Trump and encouraged DeSantis to drop out.

However, Lahren is still a huge fan of DeSantis and believes he is the future of the Republican Party.

In a post on X, Lahren shared a video clip of her discussing the Trump endorsement with Sean Spicer.

“I firmly believe Ron DeSantis is the future of this party,” she wrote. “He is the greatest governor in the country, by a mile.”

But despite that, Lahren wrote that “it’s time for him to cut his losses for ’24, go back to Florida and govern the hell out of it, and then return in ’28.”

And in the end, that was exactly what Ron DeSantis decided to do when this weekend he announced he was dropping out of the Presidential race and endorsing President Trump in 2024.
