Ron DeSantis did it again.
The Florida Governor drove Democrats to the point of insanity.
And Ron DeSantis tricked Democrats into making this unbelievable confession.
Democrats and the media lost their collective minds when DeSantis rejected an AP black history class because it was infested with Critical Race Theory principles banned under state law.
DeSantis blasted the course for a “a political agenda” as the curriculum included woke nonsense like “queer theory” and Black Lives Matter ideology.
Governor DeSantis explained the state would teach black history, but it would teach actual black history and not gender ideology brainwashing or racist indoctrination to make students hate each other based on the color of their skin.
“That’s the wrong side of the line for Florida standards,” DeSantis added. “We believe in teaching kids facts and how to think, but we don’t believe they should have an agenda imposed on them when you try to use Black history to shoehorn in queer theory, you are clearly trying to use that for political purposes.”
Just because Ron DeSantis opposed the woke AP black history class Democrats leapt to its defense.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker – who very much wants to run for President in 2024 or 2028 depending on what Joe Biden does – fired off a letter to the College Board, which oversees AP courses, and demanded the organization keep Critical Race Theory and gender identity indoctrination in any AP courses taught in Illinois.
“I am extremely troubled by recent news reports that claim Governor DeSantis is pressuring the College Board to change the AP African American Studies course in order to fit Florida’s racist and homophobic laws,” Pritzker ranted.
Pritzker demanded the College Board “refuse to bow to political pressure that would ask you to rewrite our nation’s true, if sometimes unpleasant, history. One Governor should not have the power to dictate the facts of U.S. history.”
“In Illinois, we reject any curriculum modifications designed to appease extremists like the Florida Governor and his allies,” Pritzker added.
Pritzker made an unbelievable confession.
In this letter Pritzker admitted that Democrats do not view schools as a vehicle for education.
Instead, DeSantis manipulated Pritzker into going on the record and declaring once and for all that the Left will fight to the bitter end to maintain schools as ideological indoctrination boot camps to train the next generation of woke leftists.
