Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is leading the fight to restore parental rights in education.
Republicans in the State Legislature are lining up behind DeSantis.
And Senate Republicans sent Joe Biden a stern seven-word warning about messing with children in Florida.
Joe Biden officially launched his 2024 reelection campaign on Tuesday.
Biden included Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Marjorie Taylor Greene in the announcement video as examples of “extremists MAGA Republicans.”
A few hours after he released his announcement video, Joe Biden tweeted out his administration’s alleged support for teachers and students across the country.
“Our children are our nation’s future, and they are in the hands of teachers,” Biden wrote. “This White House will always have their back.”
Biden included a photo with a quote of his.
“Rebecka put the teacher’s creed into words when she said: ‘There’s no such thing as someone else’s child,’” the quote read. “Our nation’s children are our children. That’s why our Administration supports the teachers who care for them.”
Senate Republicans in Florida took issue with Joe Biden saying “there’s no such thing as someone else’s child.”
“CHILDREN DO NOT BELONG TO THE GOVERNMENT!” the Florida Senate majority Twitter account replied to Biden. “In the Free State of Florida, Republicans passed school choice for every child, in every family,” they continued, before adding that “we stand with parents and against liberals who seek to indoctrinate our children and replace the role of parents.”

DeSantis’ Deputy Press Secretary, Jeremy Redfern, also ripped Biden and the Nanny-State Democrats.
“They’re not your kids,” he replied to Biden.
DeSantis recently signed a universal school choice bill into law in Florida, which expands vouchers to all students in the state.
This is a major victory for parental rights.
“This is a huge thing in the state of Florida and we’re happy today that we’re able to do even more to make people’s dreams become a reality,” DeSantis said. “Parents are going to be able to have the ability to get money for their student for their child, and they can do tuition, they’re also going to be able to use it for things like tutoring and other things that can be very important for a child’s development and well being.”
Joe Biden and the Democrats believe the government has the right to tell parents how to discipline and treat their children.
But Republicans like Ron DeSantis are taking the opposite approach and restoring parental rights in education.
