The radical Left spent the past two years viciously attacking Ron DeSantis over his pro-freedom policies during the pandemic.
The Left claimed his opposition to lockdowns and mandates would result in dire consequences for Sunshine State residents.
And now the Democrats don’t want you to see these new economic numbers coming out of Ron DeSantis’ Florida.
Ron DeSantis is a strong believer in freedom and individual liberty.
During the pandemic, he refused to force businesses to shut down and kept Florida’s schools open.
DeSantis also stood up for the bodily autonomy of Floridians by banning masks and vaccine mandates.
Of course, the Democrats and the Fake News Media ripped Ron DeSantis over his refusal to go along with the COVID tyranny.
From accusing him of being a dictator to giving him the nickname “Ron DeathSantis,” the Left attacked and smeared every pro-freedom policy Ron DeSantis put forth during the pandemic.
But DeSantis isn’t one to back down in the face of lies and smears from the Left.
And the latest economic numbers coming out of Florida continue to prove that, as a result of Ron DeSantis’ pro-freedom policies, Florida came out of the pandemic much better off than virtually every state in America.
Ron DeSantis recently announced that a record 118 million individuals visited Florida last year, totaling $17.3 billion in revenue for the hotel industry.
Not only that, but Florida also led the nation in new business creation in 2021.
And it keeps getting better in 2022, as the latest report shows that “Florida continued to have steady growth and economic stability” in January.
“Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that in January, Florida continued to have steady growth and economic stability,” read a press release from DeSantis’ office. “In January 2022, Florida’s unemployment rate decreased by 2.5 percentage points over the year to 3.5% and continued to remain below the national rate of 4.0%,” stated the press release.
“The U.S. Department of Labor’s revised historical data also now shows that Florida’s unemployment rate has remained below the national rate for 14 consecutive months,” the press release continued, adding that “in January 2022, Florida’s labor force participation total was 10,448,000, greater than Florida’s February 2020 pre-pandemic labor force, and increasing by 318,000, or 3.1%, over the year.”
Ron DeSantis noted that despite Biden’s inflationary agenda, “Florida continues to have a robust economic climate” thanks to his pro-freedom policies.
“Florida’s January 2022 numbers and the U.S. Department of Labor’s updated data for 2021 demonstrate that Florida continues to have a robust economic climate where individual Floridians have opportunities to get ahead – even in the face of inflationary federal policies that are causing the price of virtually everything to spike,” Ron DeSantis said. “Florida has surpassed 2019 numbers in almost every regard, including employment and labor force participation while lockdown states continue to lag.”
Ron DeSantis proved his willingness to lead by standing up to the entire radical Left over the past two years.
As a result, DeSantis is wildly popular with GOP voters nationwide, and is expected to cruise to an easy re-election victory this fall.
