The left-wing hosts of ABC’s The View flew off the rails when they saw how Ron DeSantis responded to their interview request

Most Republicans cower and run in the face of vicious attacks from the left-wing media.

But not Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

And the left-wing hosts of ABC’s The View flew off the rails when they saw how Ron DeSantis responded to their interview request.

ABC’s The View is known as one of the most radical left-wing programs on TV.

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and the other co-hosts have made numerous outrageous statements and outright slandered Republicans over the years.

Outside of Donald Trump, there is no other Republican who the co-hosts of The View hate more than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

During the pandemic, they nicknamed him “Ron DeathSantis,” falsely claiming his opposition to masks and vaccine mandates would lead to unnecessary mass death from COVID in Florida.

They also called DeSantis “anti-black,” “anti-gay,” “anti-LGBTQ+,” “shameful,” “anti-American,” “hateful,” and several other nasty names when he signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill into law.

However, executives from The View recently reached out to Ron DeSantis to invite him to appear on the show for an interview.

But they never expected to receive this type of response from Ron DeSantis’ office.

“Thanks for the invite,” Deputy Press Secretary Bryan Griffin wrote in an email to The View. “I understand that you are sending this request on behalf of your team.”

“But are the hosts of The View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all of the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom?” Griffin continued, noting that the hosts have really taken a public dislike of the Governor.

Griffin then asked if the interview would be a “genuine pursuit of the truth,” before listing several examples of nasty statements made about DeSantis on the show.

Griffin listed the following examples:

“Joy Behar, August 2021: ‘You’re just short of calling [Governor DeSantis] a negligent, homicidal sociopath, because that’s what he is.’ She added: ‘What is he doing? He’s risking the lives of children, children’s parents, their grandparents, anyone they may come into contact with, so he can appeal to his white supremacist base, so he can continue in his career and get reelected.’

“Sunny Hostin, June 2022: ‘Death-Santis… I think he’s a fascist and a bigot.’

“Ana Navarro, April 2022 (on Governor DeSantis’s policies): ‘It’s anti-Black, it’s anti-gay, it’s anti-LGBTQ+ community. And for some reason, the Republican base responds to it.” And ‘It’s anti-American. It’s what happens in Venezuela. It’s what happens in Nicaragua.’

“Sunny Hostin, February 2022 (on Governor DeSantis’s policies): ‘It started with CRT. Let’s remember that — and those are anti-history laws, anti-Black history laws, really,” she said. “If you start coming after Black people, what comes next, right? Of course the LGBTQ+ community, and then women, and then other marginalized groups.’

After listing a few examples of co-hosts of the show slandering DeSantis, Griffin ended his email by flat-out declining the interview request.

“We will pass on this offer,” Griffin wrote.

The radical Left is not interested in the truth.

And DeSantis is wise not to appear on The View to try and explain his pro-freedom policies to those who’d refuse to hear them.
