The Democrats and corporate-controlled media would love nothing more than to see Ron DeSantis lose in November.
But that likely won’t happen.
And the results of this new Florida poll will put a big smile on Governor Ron DeSantis’ face.
If Donald Trump decides not to run for President again in 2024, polls show Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would be the clear front-runner for the GOP nomination.
However, Ron DeSantis is facing his own Gubernatorial reelection this year.
And a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released on Tuesday showed DeSantis with solid leads over two of the Democrats looking to defeat him in November.
The top two Democrat candidates running for Governor in the August 23 Primary are former Governor and current U.S. Representative, Charlie Crist, and Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried.
The USA Today/Suffolk University poll showed DeSantis defeating Charlie Crist 49 to 43 percent in a head-to-head matchup.
When matched against Nikki Fried, DeSantis performed even better, defeating her 51 to 40 percent.
The poll also asked voters for their opinions about the candidates as well as the important issues facing Floridians.
Overall, a majority – 52 percent – of those surveyed have a favorable opinion of Ron DeSantis, while 42 percent view him as unfavorable.
52 percent of respondents said they support DeSantis’ ban on vaccine mandates, with 40 percent saying they oppose the move.
When asked if Florida’s COVID policies have helped or hurt the state’s economy, 49 percent said they have helped compared to just 38 percent who say they’ve had the opposite effect.
But Ron DeSantis defeating the Democrats and his high approval ratings are not the only bad news for leftists in this poll.
The poll also found only 35 percent of voters view Democrat Charlie Crist favorably, with another 35 percent answering unfavorably, 24 percent undecided, and 6 percent who have never heard of Crist.
Democrat Nikki Fried is far more unknown than Crist.
The poll showed 23 percent of respondents have never heard of Fried, with 30 percent undecided about their opinion of Fried.
27 percent view Fried favorably compared to 19 percent who view her unfavorably.
Democrats are facing an uphill battle in the November Midterm elections.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are defending razor-thin majorities.
Joe Biden’s Presidency is a giant failure.
No matter how you look at it, right now Ron DeSantis appears to be in the driver’s seat headed to an easy reelection in November.
