Joe Biden continues to learn it doesn’t pay to mess with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Now a massive new investigation is underway.
And the Supreme Court just handed Ron DeSantis a victory that has Joe Biden in panic mode.
Unlike other Republican Governors, Ron DeSantis is not sitting around and doing nothing other than bellyaching about Joe Biden opening up America to a record high illegal alien invasion.
In the month of May, the Border Patrol intercepted over 239,000 illegal aliens – the largest number ever recorded – from entering the country.
Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez revealed that Governor DeSantis won approval at the state Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury to investigate the border crisis and bring criminal charges.
Nuñez explained that human trafficking rings run by smuggling cartels were a threat to safety and security of the people of Florida and that Joe Biden’s disastrous immigration policies had effect on states beyond those along the southern border.
“All of these things . . . are impacting not just a border state like Texas, but states like Florida,” she said Thursday on The Story. “This is not just well-intentioned people trying to get folks across the border. These are criminal cartels. They have an illicit industry that is far surpassing the arms industry and will likely surpass the drug industry. They don’t treat those individuals fairly. What we’re seeing these individuals have little regard for the safety and well-being and they’re using them as commodities. So in the grand jury and the other pieces that we discussed, we’ll continue to look at ways to not only interdict the human trafficking taking place, but make sure to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law,” Nuñez stated.
Nuñez added that Governor DeSantis’ specialized strike force hoped to bust up human smuggling rings that are helping to fuel the illegal alien invasion.
“The Governor has created a strike force to interdict human smuggling that is taking place in Florida, He has the grand jury that will be investigating and looking at what are the things that we can do to protect Floridians and he also made it illegal for common carriers to knowingly work with enterprises that are bringing illegals into Florida,” Nuñez continued.
From his first day in office Joe Biden sought to open the border and dismantle Donald Trump’s successful immigration policies.
Many Republicans do nothing more than complain about Joe Biden’s pro-open borders, pro-amnesty agenda.
