This eighties pop star accused Ron DeSantis of something mind-numbing

Mar 10, 2023

Democrats and their media allies are unloading on Ron DeSantis.

And the left-wing celebrity class has been deployed against him.

Now this ‘80s pop star has accused Ron DeSantis of something mind-numbing.

The Left controls the press, universities, government schools, and the entertainment world, so they can unleash a full-scale assault on their Republican opponents.

That’s what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is experiencing at the moment.

Democrats have targeted him, so the left-wing smear machine is flooding the media ecosystem with outright propaganda.

Now, ‘80s pop star Cyndi Lauper is taking her shots at the Governor.

In reaction to DeSantis’s fight against wokeness, Lauper claimed, “Equality for everybody, or nobody’s really equal… This is how Hitler started… just weeding everybody out.”

It never fails.

For at least the past 50 years, every popular Republican has been compared to Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, or simply any other run-of-the-mill fascist dictator.

Mussolini was a life-long socialist, and fascism sprung forth from the intellectual Left, but Lauper and other leftists would never acknowledge that fact, even if they took time to learn it.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea what they’re doing but, you know, you just have to keep fighting for civil rights,” Lauper added. “I guess that’s the way it is in this country. Started out like that, didn’t it?”

Lauper’s main gripe was in response to Florida taking a stand against irreversible medical interventions on children with gender dysphoria.

According to the Left, prohibiting young children from undergoing life-altering surgeries is akin to Hitler.

This is how extreme they have become.

Lauper pulled the same nonsense in 2016 when former President Donald Trump was running for office.

“The things that he says are appalling to me and shocking,” Lauper claimed at the time. “I was so shocked when he started to talk about the LGBT community… That guy is selling inflammatory things that I have never in my whole entire life heard … except, you know, Hitler.”

It’s unclear exactly what Lauper was talking about because contrary to Democrats’ revisionist history, Donald J. Trump was the first President in American history to be elected to his first term in office while supporting gay marriage.

In fact, the former President even hugged the Pride flag, invited tech billionaire Peter Thiel, who is gay, onto the stage at the RNC to big applause, and made Ric Grennell the first openly gay American to ever serve in a President’s cabinet.

Leftists lazily throw out the same attacks against all Republicans because they have run out of substantive arguments.

Ron DeSantis won re-election by 20 points back in November, so Cyndi Lauper and other left-wing radicals are going to need a new line of attack against the Governor.
