A beloved Southern chain is expanding its Florida footprint.

They’re bringing their famous made-from-scratch recipes to a new community.

And this Jacksonville restaurant just made one announcement that will have fans racing to get in line.

Chicken Salad Chick opens 40th Florida location with massive giveaway

Chicken Salad Chick is expanding to Jacksonville with their newest restaurant opening in the Ortega Park neighborhood.

The fast-casual restaurant chain announced they will officially open their doors at 4495 Roosevelt Boulevard on Tuesday, June 10 at 10 a.m.

But this isn’t just any ordinary grand opening.

The first 100 customers who purchase The Chick Meal will win free chicken salad for an entire year.

That’s right – a whole year of their famous made-from-scratch chicken salad without spending a dime.

The first guest in line gets the VIP treatment with one free Large Quick Chick every week for 12 months.

The remaining 99 lucky customers will receive one free Large Quick Chick each month for a full year.

District Manager Luke Rooney and General Manager Josh Parrish will be on hand to celebrate with the Jacksonville community.

Five days of spectacular promotions await hungry customers

Chicken Salad Chick isn’t stopping with just opening day excitement.

They’ve planned an entire week of giveaways that will have locals marking their calendars.

Wednesday, June 11 brings another chance for the first 100 customers to score big – this time with a free Chicken Salad Chick cooler when they purchase a Chick meal.

Thursday, June 12 offers the first 50 guests who buy a Chick Trio a free tumbler to take home.

Friday, June 13, rewards the first 50 customers purchasing two Large Quick Chicks with a free beach towel – perfect timing for summer.

The celebration wraps up Saturday, June 14, with free tote bags for the first 50 guests who purchase a Chick meal.

All promotions require customers to be present and at least 16 years old.

Southern hospitality meets community giving

Founded in Auburn, Alabama, by Stacy and Kevin Brown in 2008, Chicken Salad Chick has grown from a small startup to more than 300 restaurants across 21 states.

The Jacksonville location marks their 40th restaurant in Florida, showing the Sunshine State’s appetite for their Southern-style cooking.

“We’re thrilled to bring another Chicken Salad Chick restaurant to the Jacksonville community,” CEO Scott Deviney said in a statement. “Our team has poured their hearts into creating an inviting and comfortable gathering space for friends and family, and we look forward to reconnecting with our Jacksonville neighbors at this new location in Ortega Park.”

The restaurant stays true to the brand’s commitment to giving back to local communities.

Opening day proceeds will support Impact Clay, a local nonprofit focused on improving Jacksonville area residents’ quality of life through housing, employment, childcare, transportation, and food security programs.

More than a dozen flavors of made-from-scratch goodness

The restaurant chain specializes in handcrafted chicken salad recipes made daily in each location.

Their menu features more than a dozen original chicken salad flavors alongside fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and delicious desserts.

The Ortega Park location will operate Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Customers can choose from dine-in, delivery, and takeout options to enjoy their favorite meals however they prefer.

The expanded dessert menu includes cakes and other sweet treats that have helped earn the brand numerous accolades.

The brand has earned recognition, including spots on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 and Fast Casual’s Top Movers and Shakers lists multiple years running.

Their rapid expansion shows no signs of slowing down as they continue opening both franchise and company locations across the Southeast and beyond.

Jacksonville residents who’ve been waiting for Chicken Salad Chick to arrive in their neighborhood finally have their chance to experience what all the fuss is about.

With a week of incredible promotions and the promise of Southern hospitality, the Ortega Park location is positioned to become a community favorite.
