This one nasty accusation made against Ron DeSantis during the pandemic turned out to be a bald-faced lie

May 31, 2022

For more than two years, Democrats and the Fake News Media have been out to get Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

They’ve accused him of virtually everything under the sun.

But this one nasty accusation made against Ron DeSantis during the pandemic turned out to be a bald-faced lie.

Ron DeSantis set himself apart from other Republican leaders during the pandemic by turning Florida into an “oasis of freedom.”

DeSantis promoted the use of life-saving monoclonal antibodies as an effective early treatment against COVID while allowing businesses and schools to remain open while other states enforced strict lockdowns and social distancing rules.

He also banned masks and vaccine mandates in the Sunshine State, and fought to block the unconstitutional vaccine mandate Joe Biden attempted to impose on over 100 million American workers.

Of course, DeSantis refusing to follow Biden and Fauci’s rules and regulations made him the top villain for the Left over the past two years.

The Democrats and the corporate-controlled press launched numerous nasty accusations against DeSantis, even referring to him as Ron “DeathSantis” because of his pro-freedom policies.

But one of the most-serious accusations levied against Ron DeSantis came from former Florida Health Department “data scientist” Rebekah Jones, who ran the state’s COVID statistics dashboard for a few months starting in March 2020.

Jones claimed that the former Deputy Secretary of the Florida Department of Health, Shamarial Roberson, directed her to “manipulate” data on the state’s COVID-19 digital dashboard to downplay the high case count in order to allow Ron DeSantis to justify his opposition to lockdowns and mandates.

Even though Jones’ accusations were clearly unfounded, the corporate-controlled media ran with the false story in an effort to demonize Ron DeSantis.

Jones was a frequent guest on CNN and MSNBC, where she parroted the lie that she was fired for whistleblowing against Ron DeSantis about allegedly faked pandemic statistics.

Jones is also running for Congress against Republican Matt Gaetz and clearly tried to use this false story as a springboard for her long-shot campaign.

However, the Florida Department of Health’s Office of the Inspector General just published a 27-page report showing that all of Jones’ claims were unsubstantiated and had “insufficient evidence.”

NBC News reported, “The 27-page report from the Florida Department of Health’s Office of Inspector General said it found “insufficient evidence” or no evidence to support Rebekah Jones’ accusations that she was asked to falsify Covid positivity rates or misrepresent them on the state’s dashboard she helped design. The report also “exonerated” officials accused by Jones of wrongdoing because they removed a data section from the website to ensure that private individual health information was not released publicly.”

Even though the left-wing media spent the past year pushing Jones’ story as truth and using it to attack DeSantis, they’re silent when it comes to correcting the record and admitting the entire story was a lie.

But the people of Florida know the truth.

They appreciate Ron DeSantis for standing up and protecting freedom during the pandemic.

And despite the attacks from the media, DeSantis is more popular now than ever before.
