When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill that prevented children from being exposed to sexually explicit material in schools, the radical Left acted like it was the end of the world.
Leftists were so outraged they couldn’t brainwash these primary school kids’ minds with their gay and trans propaganda that they did everything from organizing marches to putting up billboards in Florida with the word “gay” printed on them to protest the law.
But this woke corporation just vindicated Ron DeSantis in his fight to protect kids.
“I didn’t order propaganda with my pizza . . .”
What started off as an innocent summer reading program has now become a tool for leftists to expose kids as young as pre-k to LGBT-themed books.
Camp BOOK IT! encourages kids to keep reading all summer long and if they reach their monthly reading goal, they get a free one-topping personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
And according to the BOOK IT! program’s website for parents, it reads “We’ll also share fun activities and book recommendations each week to keep the fun going throughout the summer!”
But according to recent reporting from The Washington Free Beacon, this is the vehicle Pizza Hut is using to distribute it’s gay propaganda.
“Big Wig, a book promoted by the restaurant chain as appropriate for children ages pre-K to third grade, ‘celebrates drag kids, individuality, and self-confidence from the perspective of a fabulous wig,’ according to its publisher, Simon and Schuster. Be Amazing: A History of Pride, a book suggested by Pizza Hut for pre-K through first graders, is authored by ‘Desmond is Amazing,’ a self-described 12-year-old ‘drag kid’ who teaches young readers about ‘brave people that have paved the way for the LGBTQ+ community and encourages readers to be themselves,’” The Washington Free Beacon reports.
Pizza Hut: Sleazy sellouts or soulless monsters?
So now instead of just stuffing crusts, Pizza Hut is stuffing their leftist ideology into your children’s heads.
And the question is why?
Now Pizza Hut and other woke corporations will say they’re doing these things to be seen as “allies,” meaning that they support the LGBT community and cause.
However, they might argue that they’re so afraid of the radical Left launching cancel campaigns against them that they’re forced to listen to every insane demand they’re told.
And while that may be true, perhaps these corporations know that if they do something so morally reprehensible like exposing pre-kindergarten kids to gay propaganda, that it will get them a lot of controversy and publicity, which they can then use as a shield against any future attacks from the Left.
Regardless, it is indeed a sign of the dark times we find ourselves in that companies would even contemplate the idea of showing sexually themed material to children in the hopes that they would be heralded as beacons of virtue.
