Ron DeSantis is feeling the heat on the Presidential campaign trail.
It’s not just Donald Trump that DeSantis has to worry about.
That’s because Vivek Ramaswamy hit Ron DeSantis with one big curveball that no one ever expected.
DeSantis’ declaration upon entering the campaign that this was no longer a two-man race is inoperable.
Over the last three months, DeSantis continued to slide in the polls as his attacks on Donald Trump boomeranged on him and drove his own numbers down.
Now 37-year-old entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy passed DeSantis for second place in the GOP Primary poll by Kaplan Strategies.

“Since our prior poll a few weeks ago, we’ve observed President Trump’s unwavering stronghold. Vivek Ramaswamy’s ascent to second place and Gov. DeSantis’s pursuit, closely followed by Vice President Pence’s advances, have shaped the dynamics. The forthcoming debate is anticipated to illuminate the primary contender landscape, providing greater clarity,” Kaplan Strategies President Doug Kaplan wrote.
This was not the only poll showing Ramaswamy passing DeSantis.
A Cygnal survey also showed DeSantis falling into third place behind Ramaswamy.

Ramaswamy cuts a more dynamic presence on the campaign trail and is cutting into DeSantis’ advantage in taking on woke ideology.
Ramaswamy’s also gone farther than DeSantis in pledging to drain the swamp by outlining a plan to shut down rogue agencies like the FBI.
And while Ron DeSantis muddied the waters on his current position on Ukraine, Ramaswamy detailed a peace plan that Ramaswamy believes will end the war and break the alliance between Russian and Communist China.
DeSantis rebooted his campaign three different times after his message failed to take and his fundraising fell short.
Ramaswamy appears to have voters that grew disenchanted with DeSantis kicking his tires.
Will they stick with Ramaswamy or head back to DeSantis in the wake of the Florida Governor retooling his operation?
