What Joe Biden just publicly accused Ron DeSantis of will make your blood boil

Inflation is skyrocketing, gas prices are soaring, and the economy is teetering on the edge of a major recession.

But instead of trying to solve the real issues facing the country, Joe Biden decided to pick another fight with Ron DeSantis.

And what Joe Biden just publicly accused Ron DeSantis of will make your blood boil.

Joe Biden’s approval ratings are in the tank.

He’s the most unpopular President in recent polling history with no signs of improvement in sight.

Polls show the economy – inflation, gas prices, inability to pay bills – is the number-one issue facing voters this fall.

Not only are Joe Biden’s approval ratings at rock bottom in each of these areas, but the majority of voters also blame Joe Biden ruining the economy.

With the Midterm elections rapidly approaching, Joe Biden’s dismal approval ratings are dragging Democrats down across the board.

Apparently, Joe Biden thought he could score some cheap political points and help his approval ratings by picking a public fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Tuesday.

Since Ron DeSantis opposes the so-called “assault weapons ban,” Joe Biden claims that means he is “not on the side of police.”

“Leaders like Governor DeSantis, Senator Marco Rubio, and Senator Rick Scott are all opposed to banning assault weapons,” Biden tweeted on Tuesday.

“And to me, it’s simple,” he continued, before adding “if you can’t support banning weapons of war on America’s streets, you’re not on the side of police.”

Of course, Joe Biden accusing Ron DeSantis of not supporting the police is outrageous at best.

Joe Biden and the Democrats are the ones who declared war on law enforcement by calling for defunding and even abolishing police departments across the country.

Contrary to Biden’s false claim, Ron DeSantis always goes above and beyond to support law enforcement.

When Joe Biden and the Democrats mandated law enforcement officers get the COVID vaccine or be fired, DeSantis offered police a $5,000 signing bonus to move to Florida, where they would have the freedom to choose whether or not to get vaccinated.

DeSantis Press Secretary Christina Pushaw ripped Joe Biden for his claims while reiterating the Governor’s support for the Second Amendment.

“As for ‘assault weapons,’ it’s not clear how the Biden Administration defines that term,” she said in a statement. “Gov. DeSantis opposes attempts to infringe on the rights of law-abiding firearm owners.”

Pushaw also called out Joe Biden for his desperate attempt to use Ron DeSantis to distract voters from the real issues facing our nation, such as the economy and inflation.

“Under the leadership of Gov. DeSantis, Florida has emerged as a national success story in contrast to the Biden Administration’s dysfunction,” Pushaw said. “Perhaps the president could learn something from Florida.”

If Joe Biden learns anything from Florida, it should be that attacking Ron DeSantis is always a mistake.

And just like every other time, Biden’s attempt to deflect from his failures by attacking DeSantis will backfire.
