Ron DeSantis became a top enemy of the Biden regime when he refused to go along with Anthony Fauci’s COVID tyranny.
Joe Biden and his cronies spent the past year and a half waging war on DeSantis.
And what Karine Jean-Pierre just said about Florida will put a big smile on Ron DeSantis’ face.
Joe Biden is ruthless when it comes to going after his political opponents.
Biden has already proven he is more than willing to weaponize the Justice Department and the FBI to go after and arrest anyone who gets in his way.
There is no Republican elected official who the Biden administration would like to inflict damage upon more than Ron DeSantis.
Florida is bracing for the impact of Hurricane Ian, which is forecast to make landfall this evening on the Sunshine State’s west coast.
Since Joe Biden despises Ron DeSantis, many are wondering if the administration will try to punish the Governor by denying federal funds should Hurricane Ian wreak havoc on the state as it is expected to do.
Of course, this would not be the first time Joe Biden put his feud with DeSantis over the safety of the people.
After DeSantis refused to bow to Fauci’s COVID tyranny, the Biden administration responded by cutting off shipments of monoclonal antibodies to Florida.
FEMA also denied federal assistance to two Florida counties that were torn apart by destructive tornadoes.
Before this year’s Hurricane Season, DeSantis warned the Biden administration not to play politics with people’s lives.
“Proof will be in the pudding when that comes,” DeSantis said at the time about the Biden administration’s treatment of Florida in the event of a disaster. “I can tell you that it will definitely be a little bit more of a struggle in terms of that.”
During a White House press conference on Monday, Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that Biden’s beef with DeSantis will not get in the way of federal assistance.
“What the President believes is that it’s important that federal resources are provided for the people of Florida,” Jean-Pierre said. “That is the most important thing, to make sure that we are there for them in this time of need.”
“It’s about the people of Florida,” she continued, before adding that “it’s not about public officials, especially at this time.”
Jean-Pierre assured reporters that Joe Biden’s feud with DeSantis would not play a factor in disaster assistance.
But this is the Biden administration.
And like Ron DeSantis said at the start of Hurricane Season, “the proof will be in the pudding.”
