Ron DeSantis had two options.
Joe Biden or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?
And what Ron DeSantis told a reporter about being stuck on an island with Joe Biden or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will make you bust a gut laughing.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is wildly popular with Republican voters nationwide.
Polls consistently show that if Donald Trump decides not to run for President again in 2024, Ron DeSantis would be the clear frontrunner to win the GOP nomination.
DeSantis’ rise to fame started during the pandemic when he garnered national attention over his refusal to follow Biden and Fauci’s COVID mandates and lockdowns.
He kept businesses and schools open in Florida and also banned masks and vaccine mandates in the Sunshine State.
Once the pandemic ended, DeSantis continued his battle against the Left by showing Republicans how to fight and win against the woke ideology that is ruining America.
On virtually every issue that matters to conservatives, DeSantis became a national leader in the fight over the past two years.
But while Ron DeSantis is mostly known for being a conservative fighter, the Governor also has a good sense of humor.
And DeSantis showed his humor during a recent interview with “Florida’s Voice.”
Florida’s Voice Founder and Editor-in-Chief Brendon Leslie kicked off the friendly interview by asking DeSantis a question no one has ever asked the Governor before.
“Who would you rather be stuck on a deserted island with – President Brandon, or AOC?” Leslie asked DeSantis.
After letting out a chuckle, DeSantis said he would rather die than be stuck on an island with either one of them.
“I mean, ah, could I just end the misery right now and have my Maker call me back?” DeSantis asked Leslie.

During the interview, Leslie covered a wide range of topics with DeSantis, from his pro-freedom pandemic policies to the political atmosphere headed into November’s Midterm elections.
They also touched on the controversial Parental Rights in Education Bill, which the Left falsely misnamed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
“Gay,” Leslie said, before turning and looking around the room like someone was supposed to jump out and grab him for saying the word.
Leslie told DeSantis that they’ve been saying the word “gay” everywhere in Florida and his “state guard” hasn’t busted down the door to arrest them like the Left tried to claim.
DeSantis responded by ripping the Left for pushing “gender ideology” on children.
“When they keep talking about ‘Don’t Say Gay,’ they’re implying that gay people want gender ideology in school,” DeSantis responded.
“And I don’t think that’s true,” he continued, adding that “I think the people that want gender ideology in elementary school are leftists.”
DeSantis said that the woke Left may be the loudest since they control the media and Big Tech, but they are in the “minority” with their views.
“Wokeness is rejected across the board amongs average Americans, certainly in Florida,” DeSantis said.
DeSantis concluded by encouraging other Republicans to stand up and fight the woke Left because “the people will stand with you.”
