Debbie Wasserman Schultz barged into a Miramar ICE facility last month and created a scene.
She called the conditions "conditions I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy."
But ICE just responded with three words that ended the Left’s argument.
What Wasserman Schultz Found – and What She Left Out
She showed up unannounced on July 2 – cameras ready, press conference staged outside.
She described about 70 men crammed into a 15×15 room, shoulder to shoulder, sleeping on hard floors.
She said she'd fight to "hold them accountable for their brutality."
What she didn't mention: every single person in that room had a way out.

DHS has been offering a free plane ticket and $2,600 to anyone who registers to self-deport voluntarily.
They choose to wait because the alternative is going home.
Now she's back at the Miramar facility – this time demanding local South Florida police stop helping ICE altogether.
The Numbers She Really Doesn't Want You to See
ICE booked nearly 6,000 people in the Miami area in July alone.
As of July 26, approximately 4,300 people were sitting in ICE custody across South Florida.
Compare that to the Biden years.
During a 416-day stretch of Trump's second term, nearly 39,000 immigrants were arrested in Florida.
During the same 416 days under Biden, the number was 11,088.
That's three and a half times more enforcement – and three and a half times more dangerous people off your streets.
Florida didn't get here by accident.
Governor Ron DeSantis built the infrastructure Biden refused to build.
Operation Tidal Wave – the first program of its kind in the nation – put Florida state agencies directly alongside ICE under 287(g) agreements.
Florida now has 325 of those agreements in place, a 577% increase since Trump took office in January 2025.
By January 2026, Operation Tidal Wave had already netted more than 10,000 arrests.

That number has kept climbing.
The Miami City Council voted 3-2 last year to join the program.
That's the agreement Wasserman Schultz and the protest groups want torn up.
ICE Is Just Getting Started
Federal records show ICE is seeking contracts for a new Miami-area detention facility with minimum capacity for 700 beds.
Nationally, ICE is scaling to 92,600 total detention beds – including eight regional mega-centers, each built to hold up to 10,000 detainees, coming online by the end of November.
The funding is locked in through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
ICE has also added 12,000 new law enforcement officers through a surge hiring effort.
This is what a federal government that actually means it looks like.
Haitian Temporary Protected Status expired on July 27 – a Supreme Court ruling in Mullin v. Doe stripped federal courts of most authority to second-guess a Homeland Security secretary's TPS termination.
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said what needed to be said: "TPS was temporary. It was never meant to be permanent status."
The Palm Beach County School District had already terminated 19 employees who lost their work authorizations.
That's not cruelty.
That's the law doing exactly what it was written to do.
The advocates outside the Miramar facility Wednesday represent the American Friends Service Committee, the Florida Immigrant Coalition, and something called the Miramar Circle of Protection.

Their demand: local police should stop helping ICE.
Their argument: enforcement is creating "a climate of fear."
DeSantis has the right answer to that: "We will never apologize for doing anything in our power to make sure Floridians are safe."
Biden spent four years building a climate of invitation.
Trump is replacing it with something the Left can't stand – consequences.
