Joe Biden's open border didn't just bring fentanyl and gang members into American neighborhoods.
It brought someone who buried three-week-old kittens alive in plastic Publix bags because she thought they were demons.
What Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek found when his deputies started digging in that backyard is something you need to read to believe.
She Admitted Everything and Then Started Singing
Alba Chavez, 37, a Venezuelan national here illegally, told Martin County Sheriff's deputies she buried at least four kittens alive in her backyard because she believed the animals were possessed.
When investigators arrived at the Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park, Chavez was standing in the road.
She told them to bring gloves, a red bag, and a shovel.
Then she led them to the spot.

Deputies dug in the rain and lightning until they heard crying underground.
They pulled two kittens out of sealed plastic bags.
Two more were already dead – killed earlier in the week, thrown in the trash, then retrieved and buried in the yard.
A fifth kitten is still missing.
The two survivors were rushed to a veterinary emergency clinic, treated for dehydration and weakness.
Veterinarians couldn't yet confirm whether oxygen deprivation had caused brain damage.
Three children living in the home had tried to stop her.
They locked the kittens in a bedroom before going to dinner that Thursday evening.
When they came home, the door had been forced open.
The kittens were gone.
The kids called 911.
Budensiek praised them for it: "I applaud them for reaching out, calling 911 and letting us save the two kittens."
Chavez was charged with four felony counts of aggravated animal cruelty.
She's being held without bond – with an immigration detainer on top of the felony charges.
"She's not going anywhere, any time soon," Budensiek said.
When investigators pressed her for more details, she stopped answering questions and started singing instead.
Congress Already Wrote the Bill – Democrats Won't Pass It
This case didn't catch anyone off guard.

“You don’t treat an animal that way and expect to get away with it,” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace introduced the Illegal Alien Animal Abuser Removal Act of 2026 in February – legislation that would make any illegal alien convicted of animal cruelty immediately deportable and permanently barred from re-entering the United States.
It currently sits in the House Judiciary Committee.
"If you come here illegally, you're already a criminal," Mace said. "Add animal cruelty to the list and you're on the next flight back to where you came from."
She's right about something else, too.
The FBI has identified animal cruelty as a documented warning sign for escalating violence – including domestic violence and child abuse.
Those three children were in that house.
Chavez was a danger to every person under that roof, and the open border Biden spent four years defending put her there.
The Department of Children and Families removed the children after the arrest and placed them with their father.
The two surviving kittens are in foster care and expected to be available for adoption.
One kitten is still in the ground somewhere – or gone entirely – because nobody stopped this woman before she buried the first one.
That's the part Democrats never explain.
Not the ideology, not the demonology, not what Chavez believed about black and brown cats.
Just this: she was here illegally, deputies had already responded to mental health calls at that address, and a family was living in the same house as her when she started killing animals.
Every single checkpoint failed.
And three children had to call 911 to fix it.
