Bill Clinton Just Quoted the Bible in Florida and Every Christian in America Knows Why That Is Funny

Bill Clinton got impeached for lying under oath about having sexual relations with a White House intern.

Now he is standing at a Florida interfaith event quoting scripture.

Bill Clinton just quoted the Bible in Florida and every Christian in America knows why that is funny.

Democrats Send the Wrong Preacher to Save David Jolly

Clinton appeared alongside David Jolly on Tuesday in Hollywood, Florida – pitching the former Republican turned Democrat to a crowd of religious voters.

"Let us not grow weary in doing good," Clinton told them, "for in due season we will reap if we do not faint."

That is Galatians 6:9.

The same chapter includes verse 7: "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap."

Clinton did not read that part.

He told the crowd he believes in Jolly because he is in this race "for what I think are the right reasons."

“You need somebody who will get up every morning and just bust a gut trying to do something that will help you. That’s what you need, and I think that’s someone in David Jolly,” he said. “I’m going to have to really practice now, never to refer to David Jolly as Reverend Jolly ever, but I’m here for him and for Gwen Graham because they’re in this race for what I think are the right reasons — to give every Floridian, without regard to race, politics, religion, or you name it — a chance to build a better life for themselves, their children, their state.”

He said he is "not through trying to make things better."

What he did not say is that he was disbarred in Arkansas, paid an $850,000 settlement to Paula Jones, and was impeached by the House of Representatives for lying under oath about his relationship with a 22-year-old White House intern.

Democrats Have Not Won Florida Since Before Clinton's Intern Was in High School

Hillary Clinton quoted the exact same verse – Galatians 6 – in the closing lines of her 2016 concession speech.

Democrats reach for Galatians every time they need to sound righteous during a losing campaign.

The difference is that Hillary was a lifelong Methodist with a long public record of attending church.

Bill Clinton was impeached for conduct that would get any pastor fired from his pulpit before Sunday services ended.

The man called his affair with Monica Lewinsky a "critical lapse of judgment and a personal failure" – at the White House prayer breakfast in 1998 – also while quoting scripture.

Jolly is trailing Byron Donalds by double digits in the Stetson poll.

Donalds – an America First conservative with Trump's complete and total endorsement – is leading Jolly by 7 points in the Mason-Dixon survey and 11 points in the University of North Florida poll.

Registered Republicans now outnumber registered Democrats in Florida by more than 1.5 million voters.

No Democrat has been governor of Florida since Lawton Chiles won reelection in 1994.

David Jolly's intern was probably not born yet.

So the Democrat Party looked at all of that – the registration gap, the 32-year losing streak, the double-digit polls – and decided what this campaign was missing was a man who got caught lying to a grand jury about what he did with a 22-year-old, standing at a church event two weeks before Election Day, telling Florida voters that God rewards people who do not give up.

Byron Donalds is going to be the next governor of Florida.

And Bill Clinton, of all people, just reminded every Christian in that room exactly what the Bible says about reaping what you sow.
