Christina Pushaw revealed one fact that the Democrat Governor of Maryland failed to mention to Jen Psaki

Democrats and the media have used Ron DeSantis as a punching bag ever since he rejected Biden’s COVID mandates and declared war on woke ideology.

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki recently asked Maryland Governor Wes Moore for his thoughts on DeSantis.

And Christina Pushaw revealed one fact that the Democrat Governor of Maryland failed to mention to Jen Psaki.

Crime has become a major issue in Democrat-run cities and states across the country.

According to the real estate investment firm Norada, Baltimore, Maryland, is the second most dangerous city in the entire United States.

“The city consistently ranks among the most dangerous cities in America due to its significant number of annual homicides,” Norada reported. “This tragic loss of life has a profound impact on families, communities, and the overall sense of safety within Baltimore.”

But instead of trying to solve the rising crime rates in Baltimore, Democrats are more concerned with taking swipes at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Maryland Democrat Governor Wes Moore recently appeared for an interview on MSNBC with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

During the interview, Jen Psaki brought up a recent comment made by Ron DeSantis about how you are more likely to get shot in Baltimore than receive a good education.

“Violence and also gun restrictions have become pretty politically charged, and another Governor, Ron DeSantis, you may have heard of him, recently made a comment I’m gonna paraphrase, that you’re more likely to get shot than get a good education in Baltimore,” Psaki said. “So, what do you have to say about that,” she asked Governor Moore.

Moore told Psaki that DeSantis “should come spend some time in Baltimore.”

He then took a shot at DeSantis over his ongoing war with Disney, telling Psaki that “I mean, he needs to worry about the fact that he’s got some of his largest employers suing him.”

Instead of addressing the crime issue, Moore complained about DeSantis using his state as a “punchline” and a “talking point.”

“We have these so-called leaders who do not have a plan, what they have is a playbook,” he said. “The playbook is that every single election cycle makes people scared and then tell people you’re the only one who can solve it – without a plan.”

“I haven’t heard a single thing that he’s proposed that’s gonna make anyone in the city of Baltimore safer,” he added.

Of course, as Governor of Florida, it is not up to DeSantis to create a plan for Baltimore.

That is the job of local and state elected officials.

And Moore’s plan will only lead to more crime since his solution was to enact more gun control laws.

“Now what we’re doing is we’re actually putting together policies that are making people safer,” Moore said. “What we’re doing is actually doing things like making sure we can get and keep these illegal guns out of our neighborhoods,” he continued. “We’re actually doing things.”

He said the Florida Governor should “actually come spend time here because you might learn a little something about how you can help fight violent crime.”

DeSantis Press Secretary Christina Pushaw dropped a truth bomb on Moore and Psaki about crime in Florida compared to Maryland.

And the difference could not be clearer.

“Fact check: Maryland’s violent crime rate is over 50% higher than Florida’s, which is at a 50+ year LOW,” Pushaw wrote on X.

Pushaw told Moore that he should stop talking about Florida and Ron DeSantis and instead get to work solving the issue of crime in his own backyard.

“@GovWesMoore, Why not focus on what you were elected to do, fixing the issues in your own state instead of obsessing over Florida?” she wrote. “You are starting to sound like Gavin Newsom….”
