Florida gave one message to Joe Biden that let him know he is headed to court

Joe Biden is blatantly ignoring the law to enact his extreme environmental agenda.

Now pushing the envelope is poised to backfire on him.

And that is because Florida gave one message to Joe Biden that let him know he is headed to court.

President Joe Biden’s lawless administration is catering to the demands of extreme environmental activists.

On day one of his presidency, he started waging war against American energy production.

Even in an election year, he refused to pivot away from his anti-fossil fuel crusade.

Biden cracks down on liquefied natural gas exports

Biden’s Department of Energy ordered a pause on the approval of proposed liquefied natural gas export terminals in Louisiana to review their potential climate change impact in January.

America exported more liquefied natural gas than any country in the world in 2023.

The White House came to the decision to halt the export terminals after meeting with extreme environmental activists including, a 25-year-old social media influencer.

Biden is worried about keeping his base from defecting in the 2024 Election, so he delivered another punch in the gut to the American energy industry.

Republican states file a lawsuit against the Biden administration

The Administration’s actions have triggered 16 states to file a federal lawsuit against Biden, the Energy Department, and top Energy Department officials over the pause of the approval of new liquefied natural gas export terminals.

The lawsuit filed in a federal court in Louisiana accused the Biden administration of violating federal law with the pause.

“The LNG (liquefied natural gas) export ban violates the Congressional Review Act, providing further reason to conclude the LNG export ban exceeds the Department’s statutory authority and is not in accordance with law,” the lawsuit states.

The Biden administration is also accused of violating the Administrative Procedures Act because the pause was “promulgated without notice and comment.”

The Republican states involved in the lawsuit are Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) said that the pause would hammer the energy industry in the Lone Star State.

“Biden’s unilateral decree disregards statutory mandates, flouts the legal process, upends the oil and gas industry, disrupts the Texas economy, and subverts our constitutional structure,” Paxton said.

“The ban will drive billions of dollars in investment away from Texas, hinder our ability to maximize revenue for public schools, force Texas producers to flare excess natural gas instead of taking it to market, and annihilate critical jobs.”

Biden’s pause won’t do anything to reduce carbon emissions because it will shift exports of natural gas to foreign countries.

Once again, the President is pointlessly attacking the American energy industry to please his far-left base.
