One Republican just betrayed Ron DeSantis with this disgusting double cross

Oct 11, 2022

Not everyone in the GOP is on board with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Like President Trump, establishment RINOs work behind the scenes to sabotage DeSantis.

And now, one Republican just betrayed Ron DeSantis with this disgusting double cross.

Ron DeSantis upended Democrats’ plans to make the Midterm election a referendum on abortion and Donald Trump by flying 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis sought to call attention to the fact that more than 5,000,000 illegal aliens invaded America following Joe Biden opening the border.

It worked as illegal immigration edged abortion and the January 6 Committee out of the headlines.

But establishment Republicans were not happy.

Political consultants and strategists that make their living serving the donor class constantly try to push the GOP to pass amnesty for illegal aliens.

These grifter consultants are always more than happy to provide quotes to the corporate-controlled media to advance their storyline that Republicans should avoid talking about immigration.

GOP “strategist” John Thomas was happy to play the role of concern troll in a POLITICO article where he falsely claimed immigration was not a winning issue for Republicans in 2022.

“Have they shifted the American electorate’s consciousness to illegal immigration? No,” Thomas stated.

Thomas claimed – without citing any evidence – that Republicans featuring their opposition to illegal immigration would repel suburban swing female voters.

“Outside of the politics of self-interest for these select elected officials, it’s not terribly good electoral strategy for the midterms simply because in a lot of these tighter contests, more looking at House races in southern California, places in Arizona and Nevada, it’s mostly college-educated white women that are going to decide this thing,” Thomas added. “Republicans win on pocketbook issues with them, not busing migrants across the country.”

The corporate-controlled press wants to hammer home a theme that immigration talk doesn’t enhance GOP electoral prospects precisely because opposition to illegal immigration is a winning message for Republicans.

Donald Trump won the 2016 election by making building a wall the centerpiece of his campaign.

Trump then spent four years implementing this America First border agenda.

The end result was that Donald Trump won 38 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2020 and made massive gains in key Latino-dominated counties.

In 2016, Clinton won the Rio Grande Valley counties of Starr and Hidalgo by 60 and 45 points.

But in 2020 Trump cut those margins to five and 17 points.

This past spring, Republican Maya Flores won a special election in a Congressional District that’s 84 percent Hispanic.

Republican gains with Latino voters are being driven in large part to Donald Trump defining the party as opposed to open borders and amnesty.

The press wants to help Democrats so they concocted a phony narrative to trick Republicans into thinking that immigration doesn’t move the political needle.

And establishment GOP consultants who support amnesty are happy to play along.
