Stephen Lashbrook's body was one giant scab covering 90 percent of his skin.
Doctors told him the only option was expensive injections for the rest of his life.
But you need to see what happened to this Florida man after he dropped the drugs and ate nothing but beef.
Thirty Years of Failed Treatments
Lashbrook's nightmare started at age four with crushing depression.
By his teens, chronic pain and sleeplessness joined it.
In his early 20s, doctors added the diagnosis that would define the next three decades: psoriasis.
Not a little psoriasis.
"I was probably 90% covered in psoriasis," Lashbrook told Fox News Digital. "My body was just one big, giant, itchy, flaky scab."
He tried everything the medical system offered.
Creams. Steroids. Medications of every variety.
Nothing worked.
Then doctors recommended long-term injections – treatments that would cost thousands annually with no end in sight.
The hopelessness left him suicidal.
Then he found a TED Talk.
Mikhaila Peterson – daughter of Jordan Peterson, the professor the left spent years trying to cancel for telling young men to take responsibility for their lives – had documented how a strict elimination diet of ruminant meat, salt and water resolved the autoimmune disorders her own doctors couldn't touch.
She calls it the lion diet.
"It gave me a whole new lease on life," Lashbrook said.
He began by cutting sugar, grains, fruits and vegetables.
On January 1, 2024, he committed fully – nothing but beef, buffalo, lamb or goat.
Within a week, the itching stopped and the suicidal thoughts were gone.
A month later, his skin began clearing and the pain followed.
"I haven't had one suicidal thought. I haven't had any depression. I haven't had any pain," he said. "All my skin issues cleared up."

He now eats one meal a day – about 1.5 to 2 pounds of high-fat grass-fed ground beef, usually cooked in an air fryer.
"I feel like I'm reverse aging," he said.
What the Establishment Doesn't Want You to Figure Out
Lashbrook's story is a perfect case study in everything RFK Jr. has been saying since he walked into HHS.
For decades, the medical establishment told people with chronic conditions like psoriasis that the only real option was managed pharmaceutical dependency.
Lifetime prescriptions. Insurance battles.
Side effect profiles that require monitoring for cancer and infection.
The pharma companies got paid.
The patients stayed sick.
The MAHA Commission report released in 2025 laid it out plainly: chronic illness in America is being driven by ultra-processed foods, chemical exposures and pharmaceutical overcorrection.
RFK Jr. called the processed food dominating American diets "poison" – noting that 70 percent of what American children eat is ultra-processed food and refined carbohydrates.
The lion diet works on a principle the establishment doesn't profit from: elimination.
Mikhaila Peterson's own research into her autoimmune collapse – rheumatoid arthritis, depression, chronic fatigue – pointed to plant compounds like lectins, oxalates and salicylates as inflammatory triggers for people with specific immune vulnerabilities.
Remove everything.
Add back one variable at a time.

Find your poison.
It's not complicated.
It's just inconvenient for the people selling the injections.
Lashbrook will share his story this week at Carni-Con, a virtual convention running September 18 through 20 featuring doctors, creators and diet advocates.
"The stories are what's most important," he said. "If people don't hear that these healings are possible, they're not going to know."
He's right.
The system won't tell them.
