Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley traded barbs during the GOP Presidential Primary.

The Florida Governor may be out of the race, but he is still not pulling any punches.

And Ron DeSantis dropped the hammer on Nikki Haley with this epic takedown.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared on the Fox News show, One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, where he ripped former South Carolina Nikki Haley for her hard Left turn in the Republican Primary.

Haley is well on her way to being the next RINO Liz Cheney by openly courting Democrats to vote for her in the Republican Primary.

DeSantis told Fox News host Brian Kilmeade that Haley is cozying up to “very liberal Democrats” in her Presidential campaign.

“The thing was, there were 7,000 Democrats who showed up and switched to Republican on the night of the caucus,” DeSantis said about the Iowa caucus. “I was at a couple of these caucus sites. These were very liberal Democrats. They had N-95 masks on. They had shirts that had liberal slogans on, and that was a core part of her strategy was to appeal to those people.”

Haley and her backers know that conservatives will not vote for her, so they have been targeting independents and Democrats to cross over and vote in the GOP Primary.

The Florida governor suspended his campaign after his second-place finish in Iowa when it became apparent that he had no path to the GOP nomination.

Haley is pressing forward in the Primary despite losing every contest to former President Donald Trump by double digits, even with the support of Democrats.

The only thing she has succeeded at in the Primary so far, is losing.

“Her strategy has been to appeal to people who are kind of stock Republicans, but that’s just not going to work in a Republican primary,” DeSantis explained. “It’s definitely not going to work against somebody who’s as well-known and has already been president, like Donald Trump.”

The Florida governor said that Haley’s appeal with Republicans is limited to a dwindling number of establishment Republicans, not the GOP’s base of “conservative populist voters.”

“She’s really playing to the 20% who were more of McCain, Romney, Republicans,” DeSantis told Kilmeade. “And look, we need a big tent. We need everyone in, but once you go in that direction, you really poisoned the well with the vast majority of Republican primary voters.”

Nikki Haley is watching her political career go up in flames as she continues her hopeless pursuit of the Republican nomination.
