Ron DeSantis just said three words that have Ilhan Omar shaking in her hijab

Feb 8, 2024

Ron DeSantis may no longer be running for the White House, but he’s still one of the leaders and most popular figures within the Republican Party.

And America’s Governor hasn’t stopped speaking his mind on controversial topics.

Now, DeSantis has just dropped a three-word reality check that has Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar worried about her future endeavors.

Ilhan Omar admits she’s “Somali-First”

Squad member and Minnesota Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, said the quiet part out loud in a recent speech – and she may now finally have to face consequences for her radical philosophy.

The Somali-born Democrat Representative delivered a speech in her mother-tongue at a gathering of community leaders at a Minneapolis hotel last weekend.

As you can see in the above video, in her comments, Omar proclaims she is “Somali First,” Muslim, second, and vowed to protect Somalian interest, as long as she is a member of the People’s Chamber.

“The U.S. is a country where one of your daughters is in Congress to represent your interest,” Omar said. “For as long as I am in the US Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, its waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia or others … Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the US system. We, as Somalians, love each other… people who know they are Somalians first and Muslim second who protect one another and come to each other’s aid and to the aid of other Muslims too.”

You’ll notice not America, nor Americans, even earned an honorable mention in Omar’s priority list.

Omar’s shocking, but not at all surprising, comments came while she was raging against plans by the Ethiopian government to enter a sea access deal with the Republic of Somaliland — a breakaway province of Somalia.

Governor Ron DeSantis vs. Representative Ilhan Omar

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida believes action needs to be taken to address that violation.

And America’s Governor is now going viral over his suggestions on how to handle Omar’s breaking her oath of office.

As you can see in the above tweet, DeSantis summed up his feelings on the Squad member and her admission that she’ll put Somalia over the United States in three simple words:

“Expel (from Congress), denaturalize and deport.”

There is legal logic behind DeSantis’ call to remove Omar from Congress.

When a Representative is sworn into Congress, they take an oath to uphold the Constitution, and it’s implied to also look out for the best interest of their constituents.

Omar just admitted, on camera, that she’s putting a foreign nation’s interest above those of the United States’.

Time will tell if this time Representative Omar has gone too far and will face repercussions for her radicalism, or if she’ll get off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

DeSantis Daily will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
