Democrats and their allies in the corporate-controlled media did everything in their power to drive Donald Trump from office.
But installing Joe Biden in the White House just made everything worse.
And Ron DeSantis revealed the one thing that everyone misses about Donald Trump.
During a round table event in Cape Coral on Wednesday, DeSantis told attendees Florida was entering rough economic times as it recovered from Hurricane Ian because of the failed policies put forth by Joe Biden and the Democrats.
“We’ve done our part in Florida to try to mitigate that with our ports and everything, but the reality of it is we’re in a challenging economic environment in terms of supply chain, that’s just the reality,” DeSantis stated.
DeSantis added that the state would do everything in its power to mitigate the Biden recession and high inflation but that national economic trends would take hold at some points.
“I mean, if there’s things we can do more to push levers in the state we will do so,” DeSantis continued. “But I do think that if this had happened three years ago, you’re looking at probably a little bit different in terms of how some of this stuff would have worked. That’s just the reality.”
DeSantis also noted that inflation made it much more costly to repair property damage than it does now.
“I don’t know how much more it costs to repair a roof than it did three years ago,” DeSantis said. “But it’s a lot more.”
When Donald Trump took office the inflation rate was 2.5 percent.
When Trump left office the inflation rate was 1.4 percent.
Prices began skyrocketing as soon as Joe Biden and the Democrats began pumping trillions of dollars in socialist spending into the economy and devaluing the money dollar.
The latest inflation report showed prices surging 8.5 percent on the year.
DeSantis warned that the Federal Reserve continually hiking interest rates to combat Joe Biden’s hyper inflation would lead to a severe economic downturn.
“It’s just a reality that supply chain, inflation, all that, I mean, you’ve got a lot of negative economic indicators for a major recession potentially for this country,” DeSantis said.
In fact, the economy is already in a recession as the government reported two consecutive quarters of negative Gross Domestic Product.
And Ron DeSantis is warning that thanks to Joe Biden’s failed, socialist policies there is more economic pain on the way.
