Ron DeSantis stood up to Joe Biden with one decision that left Democrats’ heads spinning

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis doesn’t back down from a fight.

He took off the gloves in his escalating feud with Joe Biden.

And Ron DeSantis stood up to Joe Biden with one decision that left Democrats’ heads spinning.

President Joe Biden is lying through his teeth when he claims that he will shut down the border if Congress passes the fake border security bill.

His administration has undermined Texas from doing the job the federal government was supposed to do by securing the border.

A 5-4 decision from the Supreme Court ruled that Border Patrol agents are allowed to remove razor wire that Texas had been placing at the border to stem the flow of illegal aliens.

Texas was previously sued by Biden’s Justice Department in federal court to force them to remove floating barriers placed in the Rio Grande River separating the U.S. and Mexico.

The Biden administration won’t secure the border and will take any state to court that tries to do it.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is thumbing his nose at Biden by deploying the Florida National Guard and the Florida State Guard to the border in Texas.

Those troops will help Texas authorities lay razor wire and other barricades along the border.

DeSantis told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview that Florida was the first state to come to the aid of Texas during the Biden border crisis in 2021.

“As soon as Biden reversed policies, as soon as he embraced an open border, we knew this was going to be a big issue,” DeSantis said. “So we have responded to calls from Texas throughout the years. And then I think, with this issue with this wire and the fortifications, I just wanted to make sure, if we could send additional personnel to help Texas put up as much of this wire or barricades as possible to be able to drive those numbers to zero, well, I’m going to step up and do it.”

The Florida governor previously explained on social media that the Constitution gives states the right to defend themselves from an invasion.

DeSantis also cited Federalist Paper 46 by James Madison which argued states can stand up to federal infringement of their rights.

“A country has borders. If you don’t have a border, you are not a country,” DeSantis added. “And Biden has failed at his duty as commander-in-chief to make sure our laws are faithfully executed. So we have every right as states to band together and do the job that the federal government refuses to do.”

It will be up to red states like Florida and Texas to secure the border while Joe Biden occupies the White House.
