A Florida attorney walked into a Mississippi gun store and asked the employee where to aim if the bullets couldn't get through an ICE agent's body armor.
The employee refused the sale – and then called the feds.
What happened next explains everything Democrats won't say out loud about the war they started against federal law enforcement.
What She Said at the Counter
Lisa C. White walked into High Caliber Guns in Long Beach, Mississippi on September 23 and told employees she needed a gun.
She identified herself as a protester and activist.
She wanted a firearm and pepper spray for a demonstration, she said, because ICE agents were getting "crazy and wild."
Then she asked whether certain firearms could penetrate a federal agent's body armor.

When an employee indicated some couldn't, she said she would aim for the head, shoulder, arm, or leg instead.
The employee declined to complete the sale and suggested she return in a couple of days.
He then reported the exchange to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which notified HSI.
Special Agent John Griggs documented the conversation in a federal criminal complaint.
Agents located White and arrested her in Long Beach weeks later.
She is now being held without bond on a federal charge of threatening a federal law enforcement officer.
A Lawyer Who Knew Exactly What She Was Doing
White is not some confused protester who stumbled into a gun shop.
She has been a licensed Florida Bar attorney since 1995.
She practiced in Broward County for decades.
She walked into that store knowing what she was doing and knowing exactly what questions to ask.
Federal prosecutors are preparing charges under a statute that prohibits influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threat – carrying a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

HSI Gulfport Assistant Special Agent in Charge Matthew Reidell said the gun store employees' alertness gave agents the window they needed to act.
"The safety of our personnel is paramount," Reidell said.
This Is What 1,649 Percent Looks Like
White's case is not an outlier.
Since President Trump took office in January 2025, assaults against ICE officers have risen 1,649% – 647 documented assaults through September 2026, compared to just 37 under Biden during the same early window of his administration.
Death threats against ICE personnel have increased 8,000%.
Vehicular attacks – people literally trying to run federal agents over – are up 3,200%.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin blamed "sanctuary politicians and their foot soldiers who are involved in anti-ICE riots and other acts of violence" for spreading what he called "vicious lies."
A woman in Kenmore, New York tried to buy a gun on two separate occasions, telling employees she intended to "kill ICE agents."
A North Carolina man mailed death threats directly to federal immigration officials.
A Malden, Massachusetts woman physically attacked ICE officers mid-arrest and threatened to kill them – she has already pleaded guilty.
A former Marine in Louisiana was arrested for threatening ICE officers – serious enough that both Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel addressed it publicly.
A Jamestown, New York man posted on X: "Kill them all, ICE is the new age gestapo" – and then threatened to shoot the children of agents.
Every one of those cases runs on the same fuel: Democrat politicians and media outlets spending years calling ICE agents fascists, Nazis, and kidnappers – then acting shocked when their followers take it literally.
The Left Built This
Hakeem Jeffries told people to push back against Trump's administration in the streets.
Eric Swalwell compared masked ICE agents – agents who cover their faces specifically to protect their families from threats like these – to "some 1800s bank robber."

Democrats in sanctuary cities have spent two years treating federal law enforcement like an occupying army.
Lisa White walked into that gun store having fully absorbed that message.
She saw ICE agents as targets – and she wanted to know the best angle of attack.
The gun store employee made a decision in that moment that likely saved lives.
That a licensed attorney – someone who took an oath and passed the bar – is the one sitting in a federal holding cell right now tells you exactly how far gone the left's base has become.
And the Trump administration is making a decision right now: this ends with prosecution, not press releases.
