A police officer in Florida knocked on one door and said the last four words this homeowner ever expected to hear from a cop

Police officers take an oath to protect and serve the people in their local area.

But the duty to serve is often overlooked or forgotten by the general populace.

And a police officer in Florida knocked on one door and said the last four words this homeowner ever expected to hear from a cop.

Democrats declared war on law-and-order after the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020.

“Defund the police” became the rallying cry of the radical Left.

Democrat-led cities slashed police budgets and even shut down entire departments in some areas.

At the same time, Democrats in Congress trashed and smeared police as nothing but a bunch of violent and racist thugs.

“What too many of my colleagues do not want us to talk about what, what they don’t want us talking about, is that as they trip over each other, rushing to spew lies and right-wing talking points about police funding, they are saying nothing about the rise of violence by the police,” Democrat Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) declared. “Even after millions of people marched in our streets demanding an end to police brutality, there were only fifteen, one-five, fifteen days in 2021 in which police officers didn’t kill someone.”

But the reality is nothing could be further from the truth.

And a police officer in one Florida town just proved that law enforcement continues to take their duty to serve seriously.

On March 26, Florida homeowner Joe Neu was shocked when his doorbell rang, and he saw a police officer on his front steps.

“Hello, uh, you ordered groceries?” the female police officer said.

“Yes,” a surprised Neu responded. “Your driver got arrested, so we’re delivering your groceries,” the officer told him.

The Titusville Police issued a statement to Fox News about the incident.

“Titusville Police were successful in the arrest of a wanted felon off the city streets,” the statement began. “However, we remain compassionate and appreciative of our citizens, and we’re happy to complete the delivery of paid groceries to a valued community member.”

In a surprising twist, Neu’s father happened to be a law enforcement officer several decades ago.

“My dad was a police officer when I was growing up, so I have the utmost respect for them, so when I saw that, it was wonderful to see,” Neu said. “They definitely went above and beyond and did a wonderful job.”

Democrats like to portray the police as tyrants who beat and abuse innocent citizens.

But as these Florida officers proved, nothing could be further from the truth.
